Joel Silver to produce He-Man movie

this could be good... i loved the old dalph version for what it was, but i agree that this one needs to be set in Eternia, but updates for sure need to be made. giant green tiger that you ride around? lame. little floating fairy wizard? lame. the costumes? mega-lame.

I've always liked Cringer/Battlecat. Instead of having Cringer transform to an even more giant & braver version of himself why not just have him be a regular tiger colored green that is still He-Mans pet & sidekick minus the talking part?

I hope some news come soon as to when production could start. I know its too early to tell. I want to know how close will they remain to the source.

Scott Speedman for He-Man.

Jeremy Northam for Skeletor. He's got that John Hurt/Jeremy Irons-like voice and vibe which wold be appropriate for Skeletor.

Just cast that dude Jason Lewis. As soon as we start trying to cast more people, the longer it takes to get off the ground. Use makeup or technology to turn him into Prince Adam, like they did with the hobbits or in X-Men when Xavier and Magneto were CG'd younger.

Gerard Butler for King Randor.

Gerard for king randor, yep that's perfect casting right there.

I can imagine him in the battlefield leading the armies of eternia they're loosing the battle until we hear a huge loud growl its battle cat and he-man they enter the battlefield and he-man chops heads as he goes.
Randor looks at he-man closely and recognizes his son, and then smiles and shakes his head.

Thank you.

thats so backwards:oldrazz:
Why? He-Man's supposed to be HUGE, he's supposed to look like he can shatter a mountain. You can't just take a guy about Leonardo Dicaprio's height, tell him to gain 20 or 30 some pounds of muscle, then stick him in loincloth and say "this is He-Man". He-Man needs to look like a god among men, and that requires someone who's spent years building himself up to be as big as humanly possible.

HE-MAN!!!!...and the masters of the universe.

That pic he did for the absolut vodka..as much as I shudder looking at it...proves that he has the abilty to pull off the character. Just don't stare at it, please. :csad:

I have seen him on Sex and the City and I just can't see him pulling off He-Man

Forget about casting other people. We already have a He-Man!

Does he even still look like that?

And I think Jason Lewis would be a good choice. Lucky b******, he get's to go home to Rosario Dawson.

Never thought i would say this, lundgren was great in He-man, hell he even did a good job as the punisher.

first a fan says that they want a good actor. than the fans start posting pics from models.

he he

Everyone knows Lundgren's a demi-god.

Why not just cast a good actor and put him into a muscle suit, like what they did with Juggernaut.
