The landscape hasn't changed. I thought I made it clear that plopping CGI and sets on the landscape didn't change that...
while I agree that there wasn't much to look at, with an understated teaser like this. we haven't seen any of the cities and other aliens. Unless you're too steadfast to notice how many times I've said this to you!![]()

So, are you saying there are parts of Mars vastly different from what I have seen so far?
Then maybe my problem is with the source material, which is fine. Doesn't change how I feel about the look of this film.
The only thing you've made clear is that you don't know much about the books this movie is based on.
it just breaks my geek heart when someone kinda dismisses a project like this.
The teaser under sold te premise but if you read the recent articles about the film (Colider, Slashfilm) the movie should be potentially great.
I mean the Pixar team is behind te film just without the pixar branding. Maybe that's why I'm a little defensive. Visuals aside, this ain't the same fools wrote and directed 'Price of Persia'. Thr problem with my argument is that we don't have much I go by until the next trailer...
Oh boy, finding fault with a story you have not read.
Especially a fantasy where Mars can be anything the author wishes within the story.
Talk about twisting my words. You know it is possible that somethings just doesn't appeal to some folk.
Dude, we get it. You're not amused. Now that's you've expressed your concerns could you do us all a really big favor and just move on?
I am sorry, but weren't you the one calling me back? And I don't see why I am not allowed to talk about this film, as long as I do it in a manner that is in accordance with the rules of the board?
You don't agree with me, thus I must stop?
You don't have an argument so yes, I think you should stop. The Mars in the film is just like the Mars in the source material. Talk about something else please.
The Mars of the source material does not dictate that I must like how Mars looks on film. After all that is what we are talking about here, the film, the visual medium.
Yep. Converted by Pixar's stereographer.I imagine this will be in 3D, am I right?
Damn I didn't think that BS would end. Now that it is established that this film is the bane of DarthSkywalker's very existence I guess we can move on. I imagine this will be in 3D, am I right?
No, that would be Zach Snyder.
I'm suprised they didn't shoot this in 3D.
It seems like everything's at least being post-converted to 3D these days.
