i hope its a good movie. Tron was not what i was expecting.

i also noticed that Taylor has 2 difference fces through the trailer. one angry and one normal. and he always has hes mouth open. i hope there is more to this actor

It's funny that you brought him up, because I think that if Jackman even decided to hang it up as Wolverine, Kane would be a good successor. He reminds me a lot of the comic book Logan.

Just started reading the book (if you're thinking of picking it up, get the Martian Tales Trilogy version because it's only $9.95 and contains the first three books, versus just getting A Princess of Mars for $7.95). Very captivating so far. I hope the movie does it justice.

It's been awhile since I've read the book, and can't remember what powered it but my guess would be it's the atmosphere plant.

i was considering that. except i dont remember dejah thoris ever being in the plant. though, they easily could have changed that in the movie, so...

The teaser was kinda weak. I felt, kinda like the Watchmen teaser trailer, it didnt do a good job of introducing the story to people whove never heard of it.

And before someone gets pissy, Im not saying they show everything, just a little more to give a little better introduction of the story. Like mention the fact that he's on "Mars" at least

And even if not the story the trailer didnt have any shot that I think people would go like "Holy sh** I need to see this"

Still looking forward to it. BUt it surprises me how many people say it looks like Price of Persia...I mean wtf

Mars should look more stunning. This just looks like it was filmed in a desert canyon location. It doesn't really do a great job of making it look unique. Making thingd completely red could limit a lot of the cinematography, as red is difficult to photograph, but the cinematography isn't doing anything for me. They could have jazzed things up. This is still a while away from finished, but I hope they can make it look more unique.
