Those of us who are geograpjically challenged are a trifle angered by that sad notion that we, who've been there long before RDK, since this whole mess started, are being almost completely left out, while thse lucky enough to live in the right spots are getting the goodies.

No, it's not the cake, nor the masks, nor the papers. I'm upset I'm being left out. I had to literally fight for my picture to be submitted, and I got papers. That's all I have to show for my efforts. Oh, and some used hard drive space.

So, do us a favor before you start with your "I'm better than all of you because I ain't whining" routine: don't. Just keep your slef-absorbed opinion to thyself and you won't get responses like mine, while you fumble at your keyboard, trying to find a way to justify yourself.

I was actually thinking how funny it would have been if some of these cakes had a compression device in it where the cake would explode when they lifted the lid...or a jack-in-the-box thing. Some cakes would have information, others would be duds.

i know im somewhat of a noob but ive been here since i first scooped out the filming back in april down the street from my work so i feel like i belong in a bizarro sort of way, like a pitiful nerdy please love me sort of way...but im going to have to say that i really like the fact that the joker is sending things out to celebrities...or uh...pseudo celebs like this hilton fella....it's just sort of this great joke to me. also, batman isnt really a cult thing...seeing the prologue last night made me realize that...there were people from ALL walks of life there. batman is universal and therein lies the beauty of the character. the only terrible part about this is that you know that the heath-joker will be the goth girl fantasy for the next few years...

You know, I've not been on this whole *****ing and moaning kick with a lot of the rest of you, and in a way I can understand why you may be upset, but esoteric nonsense like this has to stop... it makes us look like tools as fans. Is it annoying that Perez (he's a celebrity gossip columnist by the way Fig) got one? Maybe on some level, but for all we know he could be a closet bat fan (chances of that happening are slim, but whatever). Obviously that's not why he was sent a cake, but still the point stands. Stop acting like being a fan is some super secret esoteric club, the more promotion we get for the movie the better. The only slightly negative aspect in all of this will be explaining it to folks that have zero respect for the source material and think Schumacher's take was the best (that I can understand), but again they're not necessarily stupid... just ignorant. And I'll have you know sir that I've been lurking on and off at these forums since it was Spider-Man Hype... so pulling the seniority card doesn't really fly with me either.
