Joker's red makeup and rigid collodion (quick question)

All right, so I'll be using rigid collodion and some mehron red makeup. My question is should I put the 10 or so applications of rigid collodion before I put on the red makeup or after? Another thought was if I should put red makeup, let it dry, put rigid collodion, let it dry, and then more red makeup. Help!

I would only do about 5 layer most of the collodion then let that dry, which doesnt take long at all the tap the red over it with a q-tip but make sure and leave some skin tones showing here and there around the red
