Looks like a decent line-up power wise/hero wise. Anyone gonna be picking this up?

Definitely. I cannot resist anything with Courtney in it! Looks like a decent read, and the art is great.

I'm skipping it. Can't stand Magog or most of the other characters, and the art is atrocious.

I'm picking it up. I've been enjoying Willingham and Sturges' JSA run so far.

It's basically a bunch of characters that ruined JSA plus Hourman. :(

When did Wildcat become an actual Panther man? @_@

Looks like maybe
King Chimera might not be a traitor after all.

Skipping for me, too. There's some characters I'm slightly interested in, but I don't think I could bring myself to actual buy something that features Magog

Rember in JSA if you have a non powered relative, you will get powers based on their identity... all Wildcat Jr, or the Grand Niece of the Red Tornado.

Well, he was cursed with nine lives at the time he knocked his mom up, so that being a by product is believable.

I'm curious about why Hourman and Liberty Belle are on separate teams. Did their marriage break down? Was it handled well? I've liked both characters for a while, and I was enjoying their status as the one happy couple in all of comicdom before I quit reading JSA.

the characters could have gone to seperate teame to avoid any possible conflicts of interest

Hasn't even been mentioned.

Cursed with Nine Lives? Isn't that a bit like being "Cursed with the ability to attract member of the opposite sex that you find attractive?"

I mean sure there a downside that you can be killed over an over, but when most of us get only one, it doesn't really seem like a curse.

Because there's no demand for it.
JSA is a decent selling title, but in no way does it's sales or even storyline warrent two titles.

It really burns my ass that we got Willingham and Sturges on JSA, only to have Sturges go off to write a second JSA team full of losers. If Sturges had gotten the team with all the old-school JSA'ers, I'd be reading that series right now. As it is, I can't stand Sturges' team and I can't stand Willingham's non-Fables writing, so I get to sit out yet another year or two or however long of JSA. :csad:

Well that's what they guy that "cursed" him called it. A curse. Not my fault he was ******ed.
