Judd Apatow's 'Train Wreck'

Looks like yet another Apatow film is on the horizon. This time he's directing and producing Train Wreck, a star vehicle for Amy Schumer. Schumer is also writing the film.

Please, Apatow, don't be afraid to cut out the filler. Lord knows you have a penchant for directing movies that are far too long... save them for the extended cut you always do for the DVD/Blu-ray releases.

"Train wreck" could have been the title of Apatow's last four or five movies.

Tilda Swinton (Chronicles of Narnia, We Need to Talk About Kevin) is in negotiations to co-star in Train Wreck -- she'll be playing Schumer's boss. Barkhad Abdi, some SNL comedians, and Ezra Miller are also in the works to star in the film.

I'm surprised... this is usually something Swinton avoids. Maybe she needs the money.

Swinton usually picks more challenging and offbeat roles, so yeah, maybe she's growing less uptight. But then again, this is a person who's slept in a glass display for 'art'... so who knows why she took it.

I just wish he would o back to doing straight comedy, unlike his last two films, which were borderline depressing at times.

40 Year Old Virgin might be the most laugh out loud funny movie ever for me. Just the poker scene alone has more laughs and quotable lines than most comedies. Knocked Up is really good as well.

Swinton is a little eccentric but she's actually a pretty funny chick if you've seen her interviewed. Not really hoity toity at all.

Okay, this doesn't look half-bad. I barely recognize Tilda Swinton though, so weird to see her with a lot of makeup on.

Honestly the John Cena and Lebron parts had me cracking up. Especially the Lebron parts, I didnt know he was in this. I need gifs of him from the trailer now.

But Idk something about Schumer just makes me not like her. Idk. Now if the star was Brie Larson, Emma Stone, Anna Kendrick or one of the two girls from Broad City I'd be way more into this.

Just kinda looks like a mediocre romantic comedy with a bit of an edge. But then again 40 Yr Old Virgin isnt much more than a standard romantic comedy with an edge so we'll see.

For sure have to see the red band trailer to get a better gauge.

I don't know, I like Amy Schumer like this. Brie, Emma, and the other girls you mentioned are bit more 'glamorous'. Schumer looks put together but normal -- but not gross and dumpy like Lena Dunham.

Oh, and Deadline has the red-band trailer.

Katherine Heigl, Megan Fox, Leslie Mann and Catherine Keener didn't look 'toned down' in Apatow's previous films.

I think it was Schumer's idea to make herself look more 'normal', but it works here.
