Oh crap, I'm sorry. All of the people I know that draw manga like that are girls, so "she" just slipped out.

My only critisism is that I really don't get how the 'S' is supposed to be on his bare chest. I could understand if it was made to look like spraypaint or something but you've textured it a bit so it makes me a little confused.

O__O I apologize, I kinda meant for it to be more like...um...like it was part of his skin, only raised up...I'm sorry. -__- I lead no logic. Now you've got ME confuzzled, cakes! ^^

I tried to make him more realism than my manga style, but unfortunately the only references I could find were the Pepsi box ones and a hispanic guy...so...um...yeah, I better just...leave...*runs away!*

Doomsday's cool and all, but I Darksied has always been a favorite of mine from Sup's rogue gallery. He's like this cold, calculated, ruthless killer. He is to planet Apokolips what Lex would be to Earth if Lex had superhuman powers and there was no Superman to stop Lex from taking over Earth.

Tonal focus...it's create a focus through the use of tone. By making the face skin and clothing black and white he changes the focus to the emblem and shirt because they are colour.

It would be like if you are doing a drawing and you want there to be a portion emphasised you could render the on portion with shading and let the rest just be light lines and soft shading to create that emphasis.

I figured maybe the cape got torn off in battle. I started to draw up a torn and tattered cape, but couldn't get it to look right, so I went capeless instead.
