At first, I was trying to do a picture of him running.
I watched the Trailer #2 and paused it throughout the end to try and get the hair looking wild, as if he were running.

wow, didn't think I'd get it in, but I did. Rushed a good 3rd of the pencils, but I'm pretty satisfied with the colors anyway. Here ya go.

Very nice MadMaximus, I think there's a little bit of a proportion problem with supes but overall very good work.

Yes, I was having issues with the legs in the perspective, it wasn't just the buildings, but like I said before, I needed to start letting things slide, lol.

Well, that design (the blue one, the red sucked IMO) i think it was a really cool design, but not for superman, thats not superman.
If they created a new character with that design (but without the S obviously) it would have been cool.

But as Excelsior said: "Go crazy as long as it has Superman", well, thats what in some way i did, went crazy

What really amazes me of your pic is the background, i cant stop looking at it, the perspective and all.....just super!

Mhmm. I always thought it was an interesting design, but couldn't buy it as Superman. People always make fun of Superman's costume, so one of my projects during college was to redesign his costume. For the most part, it still felt "Superman" with the red, blue, yellow colorscheme, couldn't let that go, and got rid of the underwear. But after all was said and done, it still doesn't match up to the "outdated underwear" costume. The underwear may be cheesy, but in all honesty, I don't think it needs to be touched.

Thanks (even though I personally have problems with it, lol) Originally, I was going to play with the tone and levels to get rid of the eraser smudging...but I liked how the eraser smudging layered itself well over the buildings, giving it a nice texture.
