Damn those shots still look amazing!
I really want to go to a Jurassic Park theme park with animatronic dinos all over the place.

Famous last words.![]()
When I was a kid, my parents took me to a big Jurassic Park exhibit with models from the first movie, including a full-sized T-Rex. There was a three-story circular walkway around the rex.

Really hope this deserves to make big bucks and then makes them so that this franchise has a long term future.
I agree. My fingers are crossed this is a success.Really hope this deserves to make big bucks and then makes them so that this franchise has a long term future.

Wasn't TLW said to be a mean-spirited movie in some of the older reviews?
Oh yeah. Much higher body count than there was in JP. Spielberg was seemingly happy to get more people eaten or attacked by various dinos.
Those little scavenger dinos were scary. Imagine being chased by a lot of those things, rather than a T-rex or raptors.
I think it will be hard for a dino flick to get in the 90s but any respectable consensus will be fine for me. It's a bit unredictable as they are kind of starting from scratch. 700m with a good proportion of that coming from the US would be fine and if the film is really good will lead to much better returns next time out.I want a 90 RT score and for the movie to make like 700 million. What dose ever one think is realistic for this movie to make WW?
Not many non Star Wars, non Indy things could be more nostalgic than the ruins of the old Jurassic Park. really hope they give us something on that!I agree. My fingers are crossed this is a success.
I really hope we see the ruins of the old park. That would be a massive nostalgic high. Perhaps the old visitor centre, gate or raptor pens. Anything would be fine with me. There's real hope this will happen based on the teaser poster of the old JP car abandoned in the jungle, with the new park away in the distance.

Yes, the first scene with dinos had them either killing or maiming that little girl. In the book, those little things were poisonous.
Lets hope so. Dinos need to be on film every 3 years at least. If it gets great reviews then this movie could do very well due to the nostalgia from the first movie. It has a great cast and if the story is good then it could approach $1bn worldwide.
t:Yeah haven't seen much of the Ankylosaurus. I'd like to see the Triceratops in action too.
