I think the T-Rex knows that her only real chance is to push it somewhere, and definitely noticed the Mosasaur. People wouldn't believe that the T-Rex vs. I-Rex mano-y-mano would be a fair fight, and I agree.

It's a dinosaur! It doesn't have critical thinking skills for god's sake.

I think the fact that it's a genetically modified monster is exactly why it's plausible.

Not really, just because the iRex is a genetic hybrid doesn't mean you can give it whatever magical powers you want. It's other traits and abilities are wisely drawn from the actual abilities of the species from which its DNA is drawn. This one, not so much.

Whose taking things out of context? I asked a simple question. The raptors in film one set a trap. So why wouldnt one dinosaur be able to push another dinosaur off a ledge that it can clearly see?

Dolphins are highly intelligent. Crows are great problem solvers. Some pack animals can set traps and hunt and are intelligent enough to hold grudges against one individual animal. Hell, ants have proven themselves to be problem solvers. Animals are a lot smarter than you give them credit for. So this dinosaur having the wherewithal to do what it does is not farfetched.

Rex pushing i-Rex into the Mosasaur, and the one about the i-Rex becoming the Alpha and controlling the Raptors.

On both I frankly couldn't give a flying fart about the supposed lack of scientific accuracy. This is a movie about genetically engineered Dinosaurs alive in our time, to me that means all bets are off, grab some popcorn and sit back for an adventure, pure and simple.

So I Cant want in till Jurassic world comes out but I am probly going to want like a week or so to see it because I have a friend coming up to visit that I want to see it with and I may see it with my mom at some point to. It is going to drive me nuts to want and I didn't think about this but I may go and see it in IMax and I have only been to a IMax theater once and it was a stupid history movie when I was in school. If I go to see Jurassic world in IMAX that would be so awesome!
