I'm just getting the DS itself on eBay, and the one I'm bidding on specifies that it's new and factory sealed. I'm getting all the games via Gamefly. I stopped buying games a while ago, since I'm never interested in multiplayer or replaying the same game twice. I just spent a good four hours combing through Gamefly's catalog of DS games and adding stuff. So far I have:If you get it off of eBay, make sure it isn't a bootleg. I ordered Mario vs Donkey Kong (fun puzzle game) off eBay and it was a bootleg.
Or is that the game based on the 2K3 series?Ah, I seeIt's the movie game. They do have the DS version, but I looked both up on Gamespot and found that the DS version is some kind of terrible-looking 3D fighter while the GBA version is a 2D fighter that looks like the spiritual sequel to the TMNT arcade games. Since I loved those arcade games (bought the first on XBLA), I went with the GBA one.

Never was a fan of the series. Maybe after I've gone through this set.The Ninja Gaiden game is supposed to be good.
It's good for what it is. I agree with other posters that you do need the analog for some things, but playing as Wario through bits and pieces is pretty fun too.How good is Super Mario 64 DS?
I've seen it and it seemed a little too JRPG-ish to me. I'm really, really not a fan of JRPGs once you get out of the 16-bit era (you know, back when you couldn't really distinguish art styles enough to tell what was anime-influenced and what wasn't). I may give it a try on my second wave of rentals, though. It does seem to get incredibly high reviews everywhere.I don't have a DS or anything Corp, but one game I got to play that I really enjoyed was The World Ends With You. At first it's kind of a trip because you're doing combat on both the top and bottom screen (one with the D-Pad & buttons, the other with the stylus), but once you get use to it's quite fun
Enjoyable story, too. It kind of starts out on a generic note (The whole amnesia ridden protagonist), but it gets better. I dug the music, too. I really liked it a lot, if I had a DS it'd be the top of my list
I wonder why they haven't included an analog stick with any of the updated DS models. You'd think it's a no-brainer given analog sticks' prominence in modern gaming.

So, how is the original DS? I was just wondering because I was thinking of getting a DS and I've found that eBay bidding on the regular DS is cheaper then the Lite and DSi.
Regular DS is fine. I have the red one that came with Mario Kart. I actually prefer it b/c GBA games don't stick unlike with the Lite.
