Just bought a DS

Yes.
In every way possible.

I had one, and for some reason I can't comprehend at the moment, sold it.

Probably for money towards my xbox.

I played one over the weekend and remembered how fun it is, my girlfriend did too and now she wants one for christmas.
If i don't buckle before then and get one, that's what i'll ask for.

BTW, I didn't much like Hotel Dusk. Don't take my word for it, however, because I gave up almost as soon as the game presumably got going. Found it dreadfully boring from the start. Some seem to like it, though, so that's something.

I gotta say though, I own the PSP and the DS lite and I prefer the DS lite. The PSP feels like an unfinished piece of equipment. The games on it all feel like beta's for console games, whereas the DS has plenty of fun colorful games. I like how fantastic games look on the DS lite, games like Super Mario 64 look wonderful, bright and colorful. The PSP needs to do something, I dunno what

DS is waaay more fun, I've barely put it down since buying it, meanwhile my PSP sits in a drawer

That's my problem. I love the software on the PSP it'self, but the games are ****, the only games I enjoy playing are PS1 classics

I just bought a DS Lite 2 days ago...my first handheld. I've already spent an unhealthy amount of time playing Dark Spire.

I've decided to buy a DS Lite as well. I'm already planning on getting Chrono Trigger, Sonic Chronicles, New Super Mario Bros., and Phoenix Wright. Any other recommendations? I'm especially partial to adventure games or games with really good stories.

Definitely pick up GTA: Chinatown Wars. It might be getting a price-cut soon. I got mine a few weeks ago when Best Buy had it on sale for $20.

Yeah, I'm planning on getting that one. I also found that Gunstar Heroes had a GBA sequel called Gunstar Super Heroes, so I'm all over that. If I weren't already planning on getting a Lite because I don't need all the extra junk the DSi has jacking its price up, Gunstar Super Heroes would've convinced me instantly. I love Gunstar Heroes.

If you get it off of eBay, make sure it isn't a bootleg. I ordered Mario vs Donkey Kong (fun puzzle game) off eBay and it was a bootleg.
