Just bought a TV

Yeah, so earlier tonight I bought an Emerson 32" LCD HDTV for $500. I'm not really familiar with flat screens and which one is better than the other.. but this one was on sale for an incredible price wow so, yeah I bought it.

Think I made the right choice?


OH, and also..

What else do I need to buy?

Okay, so it came today. I set it up, but now apparently I need a HDMI or something . . . I just don't know where to connect it to. Both my DVD player and my cable box don't have any of those things.

HDMI is High Definition Media Output. It's used with certain satellite systems, and videogame systems (PS3 and 360 Elite). What did you need the HDMI for?

Well, I called my cable company and they are switching my cable box with an HD box.. do you think I'll still need the HDMI?

It will give you the best possible picture.

Damn they're expensive.

You can get some cheap, though. Just gotta look around.

Yeah, I see some on Amazon that aren't as expensive as the ones I saw today at Best Buy.
