If you guys noticed this and there is a thread, I apologize. I was just watching Spiderman 2 and I noticed Phil LaMarr, who does the voice of the Green Lantern on Justice League, in the window to the left of Spiderman as he is standing in front of the train right before he starts shootint a lot of webs to stop it.

He is wearing a black ski jacket wiht a brown liner and a black sweater with gray and blue lines on it. A girl is grabbing him from behind. If it isn't him, then it is someone that looks an awful lot like him.

He was also in Mad TV, Pulp Fiction, and he does voices in Futurama and lots of other shows. He's actually really talented.

Geez, I sound like his agent.

What's weird is that he only has the one line, "it's Spider-man!" and he's kinda too well established to be an uncredited extra with one line.

Wonder if he knows Rami? Seeing as how Lucy Lawless did a cameo for him in SM1

yeah I dont like how they use well known guys like this as extras..but whatever he did good. And that guy from Chappellles show who said he stole that guys pizza was funny even though hes reconizable.

Soemtimes they are friends of the producers or director, or just fans and contact the studio and say "Hey can I be an extra?" Star wars has a lot of that. Bryan Singer is an extra in Star Trek Nemesis. Also, since he does do a voice for cartoons, maybe they thought it would be cool. I would assume he must know Avi or someone at Marvel doing voices for one of their cartoons or games.

Oh and I noticed it listed on IMDB last night, so I guess other poeople saw it too before me.

i noticed him when the film was in theaters actually. I knew him from madTv

i don't think that's him...

i personally think it's the guy in Spider-Man 1 on that bridge with all the citazens throwing trash at Green Goblin... he's the guy that yells "Hey!" or something...

then he returns looking EXACTLY the same as in Spider-Man 1, when Peter is about to go in the burnt house, the guy comes up to Peter and says something like they can't find the daughter...

No it is him. He is listed in IMDB with an uncredited cameo, as well as other sources.

This is old news. It took you 2 years to notice him? And it's being brought under debate?

EVERYTHING about Spider-Man 2 is "Old News" considering it is 2 years old. And personally, I didn't know LaMarr did so much voice over work, so it was actually some new news for me.
Remember just because you've been here forever doesn't mean new members should sit quietly searching the archives of 1000 page flame wars for the the one thing they want to talk about.
This is a community. Let people commune.

Ok-I didn't mean to come off so harsh. I was just a little surprised.

And one more thing, Geko; if you're going to preach patience & tolerance, be mindful of what you practice.
That is all.

Well I was watching the movie and hadn't noticed it before. I did a search and didn't see a thread. That is why I said if there was a thread before on it, I apologize.

Point taken. I was projecting a bit of my reactions to other posts I've seen.
My own apoligies if I came off too harsh.

He was also the voice of Vamp in Metal Gear Solid 2. [/useless trivia]
