Mike Rougeau:

Wonder Woman is wonderful, Aquaman is surprisingly cool, Flash is hilarious, Batman is drunk, the story is coherent, and it's all surprisingly funny. It's not perfect, but really enjoyable!

ErikDavis:

I think if you are going to a #JusticeLeague movie to see all your favorite DC heroes rocking their skills & being the badasses you love, then you will get plenty of that. Lots of action. Lots of superheroes being superheroes.

Terri Schwartz:

I am genuinely happy to report #JusticeLeague is a lot of fun. It's not perfect and has its problems, but does the job of making you care about these characters as a team by its end. It's also VERY funny, in lots of unexpected ways.

Justice League is my fave film followed by Mos. You v much feel @ZackSnyder hand, vibe. It's absolutely joyful. You'll love it and I say it again Ezra Miller is a delight

@MikeKalinowski
They did it???? Justice League is wonderful. Heartfelt, funny, but with high stakes and consequences. They address and fix many peoples issues with BvS, but in ways it helps the story and characters. So many surprises you all have no idea about.

@markhughesfilms
#JusticeLeague was good & very fun. It’s going to be popular w/audiences, not only fans but mainstream viewers & families.

@DCrowsNest
Unlike that movie, the heroes are genuinely likable and seeing them interact is a joy. The entire #JusticeLeague cast is on point, with Affleck really growing much more comfortable in the cowl this time.

Appears as though the some plot issues, the villain, and some of the special effects are the main points that keep it from getting into the "great" category

Paul Shirey:

#JusticeLeague is a fun, bumpy ride that succeeds in character, but fails in narrative. It’s a mixed bag of execution that’s saved by the actors, who rise above the shortcomings to deliver an engaging, funny and hopeful, yet flawed, entry to the DCEU.

mostly negative reaction from mashable

looks like Supes face CGI may be a little noticeable

Chris Sylvia:

#JusticeLeague is a blast from start to finish. Pure visual comic book fun

Aaron Sagers:

SO I saw #JusticeLeague -twice. Still under embargo, but: This is a fun superhero flick. Funny but still hero adventure. Reminds me of JL Unlimited ep. Likable interaction amongst recognizable heroes. There is a villain problem (no worse than Marvel's)

And yeah, I really liked #Aquaman in this (didn't expect to). Enjoyed Affleck's #Batman. Of course Gal's #WonderWoman is great, and Ezra's #TheFlash is a winner. I'm a fan. And I like messages of hope. I'll see it a third time #JusticeLeague - @aaronsagers

Oh, and yes, The Flash steals the movie @joblocom

JUSTICE LEAGUE! It's okay. Narratively it's a mess, the stakes don't work & the villain isn't great. HOWEVER, the heroes ARE great, it's funny, & there's some surprisingly effective character work. I didn't love it, but there are enough good pieces to excite me for the future.

Bottom line: JUSTICE LEAGUE is awesome!

ZACK SNYDER’s film is filled with so many moments that had me geeking out and crying nerd tears. When an action scene/hero moment hits, the film is firing on all cylinders.

Still love Affleck’s BATMAN. My fav Batman actor since Keaton.

#JusticeLeague is better than BvS and #SuicideSquad - it's lean, mean & packed w/ superhero action. I dug most of its lighter moments & I think it has one of the best action sequences ever in a DCEU movie. And of course Wonder Woman steals the show.

So Steppenwolf is a disappointment like I was anticipating. Still, I'm loving how positive they are so far. Keep it up!

Woah a Justice League unlimited comparison bodes really well for my sensibilities!

That is my favorite superhero animated series sans BTAS

I will judge for myself if Steppenwolf is a disappointment.

Any narrative problems likely result from that dinky runtime. Likewise I have to imagine it’s hard to set up the New Gods in a meaningful way when you have to shorten your film up and do all those good guys any, ahem... justice.

I hope we DO get an extended cut blu-ray.

One critic did mention that scenes don't get time to develop. The theatrical cut of BvS had this problem as well with the movie jumping from scene to scene with no room to breathe.

Honestly, Steppenwolf was always going to be lame. He is lame. Getting the characters right and correcting course was more important this time around -- Darkseid is the real villain anyway.

It s about two hours long, what wrong with that?

Well thank god the reactions are not negative, crazy fanboys are already attacking critics for the more mediocre reviews "because Ragnarok."

This film just might end up being watchable! I might actually get hyped for this.

Yes and while I think it was possible to enjoy the theatrical cut, it was very difficult for most audiences to follow it seems. I’m going to be in the theater Thursday looking at the subtext as hard as possible.

The movie is funny, so that's a win?
Yes?

Six or more heroes, only half of which we’ve met before; an alien invasion by a general of one of the biggest threats in the DC universe, and a throughline from two previous films that needs to be serviced.

And reportedly there was a 2hr40m cut at one point? That would mean there’s a lot of stuff cut out, and it’s going to be the connective tissue. It always is. That makes the story more or less complete but very little breathing room, generally.

Across the board everyone is saying it's "fun" plot aside, and that's enough for me. I wanted a fun DCEU movie.

Yes?

That remains to be seen. As much as I enjoyed Ragnarok, much of the humor really undermined the drama considering how much heavy, dark stuff happened and how none of the characters cared. There was more pathology than pathos on display. Left a funny taste in my mouth.

BvS had a lot of humor but not when it was dramatically inappropriate. JL won’t be as dark as BvS; we know that, that was the plan and then mandate later to lighten it further.

But how light should a movie be when it’s about averting an apocalypse? Hopefully they found a reasonable balance.
