@Sayandeep_09 Johns and Affleck did some notable rewrites

Still calls it a Snyder movie though

I don't know why I find that funny. It's good news, mind you, but I just have this vision of my head of Terrio and Snyder talking about the story at a table, then Johns and Affleck just shoo them to the side so they can put their own magic into the writing.

Affleck just added "oh ****" to it. Don't get your hopes up.

About that scene: the Batman I know would've been out of the seat belt/restraints in no time. I cannot deny that WW's entrance was f-ing awesome in that situation, but Batman should've been long out of the Batwing and on top of that building he crashed into by the time WW stopped deflecting DD's beams. That would've made WW look around to find him to check he's ok, and yep, Batman is safe and out of the way already, planning his next move.

No "oh s--t", no making Batman look incompetent. A seat belt shouldn't be the reason for Batman's demise.

I fixed that scene in a paragraph. You're welcome Snyder.

If Johns does anything than I hope he writes some dialogue for Superman.

superman can be inspiring without saying a single word.

i want johns to put him in situations where hes heroic. he doesnt need to have a 15min long speech. there one panel in the comics where he just floats in front of a teenager considering suicide, theres barely any words spoken, more moments like that please, i dont need to see him compete with batman for lines.

I don't need speeches but I can use some more verbal interaction. There were too many scenes for me where Superman stands and says nothing. That works from time to time.

This criticism isn't aimed directly at Terrio. Several screenwriters have talked about how it's difficult writing dialogue for Superman. I would expect Johns to be more comfortable writing dialogue for Superman.

Do you mean from All-Star Superman?

i didnt see any issues in MOS, i thought he spoke plenty in that film.

In BvS, Cavil did a good job of expressing the characters emotions without saying much. The ult cut had a lot of his dialogue removed from the film so that might be more of a studio issue than the screenwriters.

Agreed the problem isnt his dialogue. So far he has been put into dark and difficult situations,so naturally his reaction was in tone with that. From now on if he is put in more lighter/easier situations, his reaction would be different and frankly thats what they should and will do.

He actually does try but if you notice his seatbelt seems to be jammed.

I love Batman as much as the next guy, but it's okay for him to need help from time to time. That's kinda the point of him being in the Justice League. Save the Batgod stuff for the solo.

That's why Batman doesn't use seat belts in the sequel

Say what you will about Zack's execution but he has some pretty cool ideas, they just usually need refinement.

And Terrio is a very solid writer, I don't get this attitude that Terrio is the source of any perceived or actual weaknesses in the film, if anything he contributed to a lot of the strengths. An Oscar for screenwriting is nothing to sneeze at, and while the vitriol towards Snyder is hilariously over the top there's some merit to it, but in Terrio's case there simply is no call for it.

Snyder has cool visuals and ideas, sure, but they're poorly executed. It's part of the reason there's hesitation with Justice League because he's still involved. I'd be lying if I said that I myself didn't find him being involved an issue. And sure, Terrio is solid, but David Ayer, by comparison, is a solid director, and even Suicide Squad, while a good film in my opinion, was pretty dire when it comes to editing.

i liked that scene, it was the first times hes encountered a meta like that so he should be under prepared and completely overmatched. Leave the batgod stuff to the cartoons. He can't stand toe to toe with superman's villains, leave that stuff for the heavy hitters.

Wonder Woman should've been more careful with that sonicboom, it had enough power to knoch back DD it could've killed Batman lol

bats should just fly his batjet and call plays from the air. he can be the JL's offensive coordinator.

What Sonic Boom, I don't recall her leaving one, if you are referring to that blast she can do, that is an ability from her gauntlets and it is a magic aura.

He should be flying in the air shooting them then get downed and have to fight on foot and I absolutely hate it when they treat the others as if they can't formulate their own plans especially WW who should be just as if not more qualified for that position..

For those that preferred the writing of MOS, I wonder if they would be stoked if Goyer was put back in charge after BvS. :o

Was it ever clarified how much of BVS's writing was Goyer's and how much was Terrio? Whatever it was WB (and Eisenberg) really started pushing Chris Terrio as the writer as BVS drew closer. Come to think of it Goyer really faded out of the whole BVS conversation as the movie got closer to release. Don't even remember the last interview for BVS he had.

But for MOS at least we know he had some help from Chris Nolan devolping the story. The only major thing different was the whole Zod death, and that was ultimately Snyder's decision to idea not Goyer's.
