So I haven't read JSA since Obsidian was turned into an egg, but what the devil is Alan wearing in this (beautifully drawn) cover?

Construct-costume. I think he was paralyzed or something, so he made a costume that looks like a giant lantern-dress to allow himself to move.

Yeah, I don't know. I only know about the costume because I flipped through a few pages of the issue where he gets it out of curiosity. And then I promptly put it back.

To me it looks like some alternative costume an action figure would have; buy Alan Scott now comes with Lantern Armour and Grappling Hook. Just not good. His normal Lantern armor at least looks good.

Yeah, Alan is currently a paraplegic. The storyline is pretty bad to be honest. Great cover, though.
