I have no idea why, but i've found myself becoming more and more interested in art work. I can't draw worth a s**t, and it isn't even the most important thing I look for when buying comics. But whenever I'm on line, I find myself browsing around lookin for art wherever I can find it. So, I decided I will put this current obsession to good use and start a thread. Post your favorite art from DC. Anything goes. Old school, New stuff, hell, even fanart if it pleases you.


I'll Kick things off with two of my personaly favorites, Neal Adams and Ethan Van Sciver.

francis is a good artist, but he never really appealed to my sensibilities. but that batman pic up there is pretty cool.

ivan reis is one of the best artists in modern comics. i think i first became aware of his work in rann/thanagar war, and it was stunning work.

I agree, but I like Manapal more.

thats cool. they're totally different artists, so its just a matter of personal taste. i would love to see some examples of reis' work without the coloring. i feel a lot of those examples above dont do his line work justice.
