I'll wait a little bit for the PS3, first I will get the Wii.

But Sony has some franchises that makes a system worth having: MGS4, FF XIII, Ratchet and Clank 5.

Sometimes a franchise can sell a company. I just hope that Sony drops the price after about a year, so that poor schlubs with a family like me can buy one.

GOW3 I couldn't care less about. But Kingdom Hearts 3 would be worth 600 dollars itself to me.

Kingdom Hearts 1 is a great game. The sequel was a little dissapointing to me, but still very solid overall. God of War is one of the best games ever created IMO. it's not that it was drastically innovative or anything, it's just that they perfected almost every part of the game. If you have a PS2 then I highly suggest buying these games as GoW and KH1 are cheaper now.

i've been trying to get into kingdom hearts 1, but i really don't dig it so far. the graphics are great, voice acting, story, all great, and i love the cameos, but i hate hate hate the combat.

I could never bring myself to play through all of Kingdom Hearts I because of the bad level/world stuff. Kingdom Hearts II is dumbed down ambition wise compared to I, but II is aiming to do the things that they know they can do well, instead of trying too much.

True, also Aiden, the games are known for having characters from both Disney and from Final Fantasy, so if you don't play final fantasy games, then it won't be nearly as fun or interesting. You can still play it, but it might lose some pizazz.
