In the comics, Alicia Masters gets caught in the middle of a love triangle between The Thing and The Silver Surfer, so we wondered if we'd be seeing some of that sort of thing in the Surfer's film debut. "Yeah, that's not so much in this film," she said, adding that there won't be any riding around on CG surf boards for her either. "I like being a part of the franchise. I like the people I work with in that franchise. It would be great and fun and wonderful if I could do even more on the third one."

I'm disappointed that the first person Surfer meets isn't going to be Alicia. Like it is in the comics.Still psyched for the movie though.

She may well be, for all we know. The Surfer does have scenes with Sue Storm, but still ...

I dunno, she said specifically no flying around on Surf Boards... wouldn't she have said she has no interaction with him at all if she didn't do anything with him? I mean, their relationship is clearly not going to be the same, but there may be something there.

Well, when they ask her about Alicia & The Surfer, she says "Yeah, that's not so much in this film", which kind of leads me to believe they're leaving it out.

But hey; i'll remain optimistic if YOU will. I mean, they did SUCH a great job with Doom in the FIRST movie....
