Logic? Spidey's parents were supposed to be agents of Shield. There's the logic. And it's true logic too. Honestly I don't care for making him an avenger, I just want him to be a part of the mcuniverse.People just want to throw Spidey in the Avengers,f*** the logic.
to be quite honest I did not mind that they made Harry goblin. I didn't like kafka being a man, hopefully that was not the real kafka and he's got a wife or a daughter or a sister or something. And I agree with the Lizard stuff from ASM1 and I know what you mean about not being able to watch ASM1 because of ASM2 - I feel that way when I play Mass Effect knowing what happens at the end of ME3.Honestly, it's more TASM 2 and the direction they're taking that bothers me. I actually really enjoyed TASM 1 and thought it was a needed fresh take on Spider-Man. But they completely ruined that with TASM 2 IMO: the sudden swift in tone, making Harry Green Goblin, tossing in every name they can come up with without any character development, bad writing etc. I thought TASM 2 was so bad that it's even hard to Watch TASM 1 now, knowing what's next.
Also, even though I really like TASM1, Lizard wasn't used to his potential at all and deserves better.
Actually I hear that theaters don't make much money off of the movies they play and that's the reason why all their **** - popcorn and drinks, are so expensive. However, I know that for box office overseas, Hollywood studios don't make back the full amount as domestic... only around half I think.Because when you take into account what the total bill of the movie was, along with marketing, and figure out how much they're actually keeping in their pocket of that 700M... The numbers get really tight. They figured it'd have to be around 800M to be profitable. They don't just pocket 700M, a portion of that goes to the theatres and things like that.
Cut the amount made overseas in half. Because that's how much Sony gets out of it. I'm pretty sure that is something I learned here on SHH.well double the budget and add the marking costs, they pretty much broken even around 600 mill
they have made a small profit, just maybe not around the 100 mark
they have not lost any money
I don't think movie theaters keep box office earnings. It is the reason why their snacks and beverages are so goddamn expensive. You need to just about double your film's budget to make a profit.
Movie theaters get a cut of the earnings that theater makes.
If they spent 600 mill then they failed.
you are on a forum where thoughs who hated TASM2 will beat it down and say how it failed as much as possible, and thoughs who liked it will defend it to the end
you just have to let people moan, and moan again when TASM3 Starts production
No man, that does not make it okay. There are general consensuses, and the one for this movie is really bad.
