Real sad stuff to watch.

Though Khan came out of the traps with determination, the cut definitely ruined the fight for me. All the same though, it was undoubtedly the best I have seen from Khan. I think at this stage Barrera will be glad to see the back of Freddie Roach!

Also, Khan disappointed me when he showed signs of his old showboating and bravado by raising his arms in a sign of victory while the match was going on. That's the kind of carelessness that saw him knocked out by Prescott. If he wants to fight Marquez and beat him that crap won't fly.

I'd like to see a rematch. Barrera claimed after the fight that Khan's punches didn't hurt him. He's a tough and honest boxer so I doubt he said that in a state of being a sore loser.

Would be good to get a rematch with Barrera & also with Prescott one day. Was a very good performance by Khan in spite of the cut. Much better defence which will need to be watertight in future big matches with his questionable chin. Should be ready for a world title shot in a couple of fights time. The quality of the new training is definitely showing.
