Kickstart/Relaunch/Reboot/Remake ONE thing

It seems we now live in the era of kickstarter where nothing dies. As nerds we should be rejoicing. X-Files, Star Wars, Star Trek, MST3K and Samurai Jack have all come back.

Occasionally things won't die and it sucks. *cough* fant4stic *cough*

But if you could kickstart or relaunch or remake one show or movie or book or something from some other medium. What would it be?

I used to would have said Samurai Jack, but I got my wish. Now the obvious answer is Firefly. But I like how Serenity wrapped things up for that series so instead I'm gonna go with Spectacular Spider-Man Season 3

Just try to tell me it will never happen. I said the same thing about Samurai Jack.

Star Wars: Episode I

Specifically Belated Media's take on it. Then hope it made enough money and garnered enough interest so Belated Media's take on Episode II and Episode III would be made. It would be cool to see what it'd be like.

I figured the prequels would come up in this thread. I am definitely of the camp that believes they should be redone for real at some point. I would greatly appreciate another chance at legitimately respecting Anakin Skywalker.

As an avid fan, the prequels really do irk me. Like, just the sheer fact that TFA is called "Episode 7" legitimizes those movies and it sets my teeth on edge. They are such a crap foundation to build a franchise on. I really wish that they'd do SOMETHING with it.

- Have the Clone Wars team redo them in animation
- Have someone take the stock footage from the films and redo them so at least the CGI is decent and Jar Jar doesnt make me want to kill myself.
- something ANYTHING! :P

I'd really like to see Spider-Man 4: the Game from Treyarch.
I really love what they did with Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3, some of their plots needed tying up, like Black Cat, Mad Bomber, and possibly the symbiote (cause I doubt it would die after the host gets impaled, (some of us know what happened to Cletus Kassidy since 2004)).

I'd also love to have a cool Moon Knight video game, written by someone familiar with and really understands the character.
His Web of Shadows treatment is a mess.

Victarion taking the Iron Fleet and pulling smash and grab job on ships en route to Meereen. Include where he ties those seven slaves to a boat, sets the boat on fire, then sets it a drift. Moqorro turning up and giving Victarion a volcano arm from the elbow down.

Stannis winning the support of the mountain clans, Mormonts, and the others that declared for him when he went to oust the Boltons.

Stannis having Mance Rayder and the wildling spear wives as moles inside Bolton's Winterfell.

The Sacrifice being the soldiers found cutting and roasting meat from Stannis's dead soldiers while they were snowed in.

Ramsay's bride having been "trained" by Littlefinger to assume the identity of Arya. For the wedding night stuff, just have the scenes where Ramsay's bride is covered with bruises, bites and talks about that thing with the dogs. The stuff where she keeps repeating that she's a good girl, that Littlefinger trained her to be a good girl.

Butcher King Cleon, including the corpse they end up decking out in Cleon's armor to rally the troops. Catapults slinging plague victims into Meereen.

So it's probably something of a stretch to say this is realistic.

HOWEVER, would you like to see a "spin-off" season of sorts rather than a reboot? something like, showing all the stuff that was happening during that time? Seems reasonable to assume that this stuff could be mostly separated from the "true" season 5 content.

I'd kickstart a Dark Tower movie franchise with tie-in specials based on the short stories that would air on Netflix or a channel like AMC.

I'd relaunch Blade: The Series. 9 years later and I'm still not over that show ending on a cliffhanger.
