Welcome to "One Universe: Independents Edition"
Season I

This RPG is similar to almost all others on Superhero Hype boards, except in this continuity, the Independent comic Universes have been merged as "One Universe".

Gamemasters: Wiegeabo, Byrd Man, Carnage27

RULES
  • You may play as up to two characters not applicable in any DC, Marvel, or Star Wars oriented RPG's. HOWEVER there are certain rules that apply:
    • Your character may not come from a book series that has a premise alien to the norm of a comic book world, or a book that has a defined end(i.e. no Watchmen, V for Vendetta, etc) However, if your can make your character fit into the predetermined world, you will be considered for approval.

    • Your character may not come from the future. Meaning no Star Trek or Firefly. However, time traveling characters such as The Doctor are allowed. Basically, if your character can fit in the modern world, it’s a go. Also, keep in mind this applies to stories as well.
    • No manga characters. They just don’t fit in with the world.
    • Keep in mind, the general public of this world is not aware of the odd things happening in the universe. They know there was vigilantes before, but at this point that was over half a century ago. Your first story should be an origin story.
    • Also, do to trying to keep heroes/villains/storylines with a low profile at the beginning of the game, we’re going to have a ban on Transformers characters. At least for a while.
  • Modern versions of the classic age heroes/pulp heroes listed in the “Story so Far” above are allowed. However, you must keep with the feel of the originals. Meaning no making a modern Rocketeer that’s basically Iron Man. This is a game to play new characters you’ve never tried before.
  • Applications must be approved by a game staffer before being considered accepted. Unless a staffer has a problem with it, then the app requires 2 approvals. If you post in the IC thread beforehand, your post is subject to deletion. Game staffers reserve the right to deny applications for any given reason.
  • You must post once every two weeks, or your character is up for grabs to anyone else. If you know that you cannot post for two weeks or more, please specify in this thread ahead of time.
  • You are your character, so act like it. Remain consistent with their powers and personalities, unless otherwise stated. Freedom in writing is a key, but so is honoring the character you've chosen. Become your character.
  • You can travel anywhere on Earth, or off-planet, provided it's within your character's means.
  • No random killing. All characters being played, non-playable characters being used, or major characters in general requires special permission to be killed from their players. Failure to comply with this will result in immediate termination of your character rights.
  • Be serious. No slander, or impractical actions, such as never falling during battle, or enslaving the Earth. If confused, look to your fellow players for guidance on how to practically play the game.
  • All regular Hype rules apply, needless to be said.
  • And most important of all, have fun with it.

The Story So Far…

The setting of this story is Earth…the third planet away from the star denoted Sol. But the planet is much more than a planet with the ideal conditions for sentient life. It is much more than a place where the human race has grown to reach for the stars. No, this is no simple planet. Earth has been marked from the very beginning of existence as a battle ground between good and evil, as the planet is the nexus of all the planes of existence in the mutliverse.

From early on, the planet was visited by ancient and powerful extraterrestrials who were drawn by the planet’s obvious mystical power. Why they left, if they ever did, will never be known, at least to the common man…

The human race, through its time on Earth, has always been swayed easily by the powerful mystical forces that flow around the planet. Evil wizards and warlords have always risen up to take its power for their own, but champions of the human race have always risen to thwart their plans. The earliest champion of Earth was Conan the Barbarian, who roamed the ancient lands. Then in the 16th century, Solomon Kane roamed the Earth to rid it of evil creatures and men.

In the late 19th century, the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was formed to combat world threats. They were considered the greatest group of heroes ever formed…to those that knew of their existence.

As the Earth’s history progressed, evil began to strengthen its hold on the planet, almost if willed by some unseen force. This came to a head in the 1930s. Evil emanated from Germany in the form of the Third Reich, and it stretched across the world, even if the Reich failed to do so. Organized crime ran rampant and a new form of hero was needed to combat it. It was during this time that the vigilante was born. Heroes like Doc Savage, The Shadow, The Phantom Detective, The Spider, and The Rocketeer rose to fight the new injustices and fight back the tide of evil.

But it was during this time that possibly the most significant happening in the Earth’s history occurred. In a last ditch attempt to win the war, Hitler turned to the extremely powerful mystic Rasputin and to Project Ragna Rok. The projects goal was to call forth a demon that would crush the Nazis’ opponents and usher in a new age. Fortunately, the ceremony to call forth the evil was interrupted by a US Army contingent accompanied by Professor Trevor Bruttenholm. The Nazis were routed and Rasputin was seemingly killed when he was sucked through the portal which he had created.

Ragna Rok was a failure for the Nazis, but it did produce one of Earth’s greatest heroes: Hellboy. The demon was rescued and cared for by Bruttenholm, and the two went on to form the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense in the United States. An organization which to this day protects the Earth from ancient and all evil forces.

After World War II came to an end, the Earth seemingly settled back into a state of calm, but I reality, the lines between good and evil began to blur. Public officials began to become corrupt. Those that would once be looked at as moral centers fell from grace. Governments and corporations began testing on human subjects to create super soldiers that would ensure their dominance. Experiments that will have powerful implications in the days to come.

The time is now, and evil is once again ready to make its move. A man clad in black wakes up in the Arizona desert, confused and unaware on how he got there. All he knows is that he has a mission. A mission to bring about the Apocalypse. Far across space, a long forgotten evil festers, ready to strike at a planet it has been to once before. A ninja warlord and his minions wage war on the terrified people of New York. Ancient magical artifacts of terrible power still lie in wait for someone foolish enough to release their power. The powers of hell begin to reach out to the living world to start a conquest. And all over the world, men in black suits are seen observing all of this, as well as the formation of the Earth’s heroes.

And heroes are being born. Hellboy still protects the people and world he was created to destroy, along with the BPRD, led now by a man whose name is synonymous with adventure. A special task force is set up by the United States government to weed out terrorism. In the sewers of Manhattan, a clandestine group of giant, talking turtles prepares to take the fight to those that spread injustice. Young men and women all over the country wake up to find that they have incredible powers. A green, human-like creature wakes up in a burning field in America with no memory. A man that was once a hero on Earth now walks it as a Hellspawn, but continues to hope for a release from his bonds of servitude. A blue box appears in London, carrying what looks like a man and his friends. And many more champions of good will rise to combat this new wave of evil.

Soon, battle lines will be drawn, and the ultimate battle of good and evil will be waged. The only question is what part will you play in this. What side will you choose in the One Universe: Independents Edition!

Important Governmental, Metahuman, and Paranormal Organizations in the Independent Universe

BPRD – The Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense is an above top secret government agency created by President Harry S Truman after the end of World War II. It was built around Professor Trevor Bruttenholm and Hellboy as a means to detect, study, and combat paranormal and super-human threats to the human race without the general populace ever knowing about them. In the recent years, at the advent of a metahuman surge and alien visitation, the BPRD is busier than ever. Now led by Dr. Henry “Indiana” Jones Jr., the BPRD stands as a force for good against evil.(Basically, consider the BPRD this Universe’s SHIELD)

G.I. Joe –
A fledgling anti-terrorism black-ops organization created by the US Government. Its agents combat threats that are of an earthly and human nature, in contrast with BPRD’s other worldly and super human defense.

COBRA –
A terrorist organization that rose to prominence in the early 90s as an anit-American military group. But the group became truly infamous when it was revealed that they help plan and finance the actions of September 11, 2001. Led by the mysterious Cobra Commander, they continue their nefarious operations from their unknown base.

Men in Black –
Who are they? Who do they work for? What do they fight for? All that’s known is that these mysterious men have started showing up at strange happenings across the world, and those that have direct contact with them have no memory of the recollection, and some are never seen again.

The Company –
Another mysterious and nebulous entity that seems to be incredibly interested in the emergence of metahumans.

Just curious, how far are we allowed to go towards reinvention?

I can understand not completely changing a character, but what if you want to take him/her in a different direction from the comics? Are we allowed to start up from the (relative) beginning?

I say go for it. As long as the basic essentials of the character are there.

Yea, that's definitely cool. A new origin and direction is fine.

Alright, then. Thanks. I'll see about coming up with something.

Dammit, I can't help myself! :csad:

Superhuman powers, traits, other attributes of interest: No powers, but Hannibal is a master tactician. A former member of the Army, Hannibal is also an excellent shot with most manners of weapons.

Originally appearing from (which comic, and company?): The A-Team was a limited series that appeared in Marvel Comics, as well as The A-Team had a daily strip in the UK comic Look-In

Fictional history of the character:

Born in 1960, John Smith had a rowdy childhood and faced a jail sentence of 10 years for Grand Theft Auto when he was 18. The judge gave Smith a simple choice, either go to jail or join the army.

After enlisting and going through bootcamp, Smith rose quickly through the Army's ranks and his once rowdy behavior was channeled into an effective soldier and commanding officer. His tendency for successful battle tactics earned him the nickname Hannibal, after the famous leader.

In the late 90's, Smith joined the Army's Special Forces. His four-man commando team was made up of Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck, Captain H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock, and Sgt. B.A. Baracus. Smith was commissioned as a Colonel when the US invaded Iraq during the start of Operation: Iraqi Freedom. Hannibal and his men pulled over thirty successful missions during the occupation of Iraq. In 2010, Hannibal's team were commissioned by US Army General Russell Morrison and the CIA to steal a printing press that had fallen into Iraqi hands and was being used to counterfeit $100 bills.

Their robbery was a successful one, with the four-man group stealing the printing press right out from under the Iraqi's noses.

After the extraction, Hannibal was shocked to learn that Morrison had died in a car crash and their CIA contact, Agent Lynch, denied any knowledge of the robbery, and claimed the men had acted on their own accord. Hannibal and his men where charged with the crime and had to stand trial before a military trial board. They were all stripped of their ranks and sentenced to twenty years in prison. The night before they were to be shipped out to a military prison, they escaped into the night.

Still wanted by the government, these men operate as soldiers of fortune.

Cobra Island

I've got the T-Virus strapped to my back as I run through Cobra's compound. Face is running point while B.A. and Murdock bring up the rear.

"How far are we from the plane?"

"'bout three clicks east."

"Damn. Okay, we'll veer off this path and into the jungle th-"

"Wait a minute. Where are the guards?"

We all stop in our tracks. We've been so busy running, nobody has noticed the guards, or lack thereof.

"Do ya'll hear that," B.A. asks as he fingers the trigger of his AK.

From the path, a gigantic figure appears.
Nemesis.jpg

"Holy ****..."

"...A-Team.."

Whatever....it is, slowly walks down the path towards us.

"A-Team, fire at will."

We let loose with our AK-47s, emptying four clips into the monster. It collapses on the ground.

"Okay, let's head on down this path and-"

"...A-Team..."

The monster pulls itself up and unslings a gattling gun from its back.

"Of course, you know this means war!"

Before any of us can say anything to Murdock, the monster lets loose with the weapon.

Bratatata

I hit the ground and crawl away as Face, B.A., and Murdock scatter into the jungle with bullets nipping at their heels. The monster focuses on them, allowing me to run after them into the trees.

"Hannibal to A-Team. Sit-rep, people."" I mutter into my communicator as I feel the bullets whizzing by my head.

"We're a half-click South through the jungle."

"I found an old storage shed."

With the monster lumbering after me, I trek through the jungle and come across a rusted old supply shed. B.A. lets me in and bars the door behind me.

"That should buy us some time.
"

"But not much. That....thing is unstoppable."

"With the way it's stomping through the jungle, we should be able to hear it coming a mile away."

I start to glance around the supply shed.

"Check this out. They've got tar and asphalt."

"Probably for their airstrip.

"There's some old building stuff here, too. Roofing nails, nuts and bolts....along with some old blasting caps. Musta been when they were building this place."

My pulse starts to slowly rise as I think. I light a cigar and start to pace the floor wildly.

"Tar, asphalt, roofing nails, nuts and bolts Blasting caps, yeah...."

"Danger, danger, Will Robinson!"

"Uh-oh..."

"Hannibal's on the jazz...."

I stop in front of the rest of the team, slipping my leather gloves on and puffing on my cigar.

"Socks! I need everybody's socks! We're going to take the fight to this son of a ***** right now!"

Ah hell. My own rule bites me in the ass.

I was all set to pick up my character because they had an 8 issue story a couple of years ago. I'm writing the application, check back on the comic's status...and they only ended up releasing three issues! :cmad: :argh:

Screen Name: Carnage27

Character you'd like to portray: Leonardo

Superhuman powers, traits, other attributes of interest: Leonardo is a mutated pet turtle. He, along with his brothers, has grown to a height of six-foot four, is anthropomorphic, and has super-human strength, agility, and dexterity. He has the strength of approximately three men, but his real offensive power comes from his agility and dexterity, mix with his ninjitsu training. Through the teachings of Master Splinter, Leonardo has become a master of martial arts, stealth, and mastered the use of a multitude of ninja weapons including shurikens and his specialty the ninjaken or ninja sword.

Leonardo is also a master of meditation, and when he can achieve a meditative state in battle, he is nearly unbeatable.

Originally appearing from (which comic, and company?): Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mirage Studios

Fictional history of the character: Leonardo began his life as a simple pet turtle bought by a boy along with his three brothers. But on the trip home to name his new pets, the boy dropped the glass bowl which he was carrying the turtles in. The bowl shattered, and the turtles slid down into the sewers of Manhattan. There, they stumbled into a green, glowing ooze, along with an old pet rat named Splinter which had been living in the sewers after the death of his master.

The ooze mutated the animals, granting them human intelligence and anthropomorphic forms. As the infant turtles grew, Splinter raised them as his sons, including teaching them the ways of the ninja and martial arts.
Leonardo quickly showed himself to not only be the most skilled fighter of the group, but also showed himself to be a born leader. Splinter quickly named him the leader of the group and instructed the other four to follow his orders. Raphael, the largest and strongest turtle, as well as the team’s loose canon, never took well with the decision and has begrudgingly followed since that day. Michelangelo, the youngest and most immature of the brothers, often needed extra attention from Leonardo in order to keep his jokester personality in line. Donatello, the smartest and least socially inclined of the four, often followed without hesitation.

Not only was Leonardo a born leader, but he is also guided by a strict moral guide of the Bushido code. He detests firearms, and believes honor is the most important trait one can have.

In the past few months, the Turtles have left their subterranean home and taken to the streets in order to stop injustice and crime in New York. In a plan devised by the eldest turtle, the four brothers all donned red bandannas over their eyes, ensuring that even when they were in different areas, the criminals of New York would believe they were combating one enemy.

Hero, Villain, or Walking the line?: Hero

List a few reasons why you chose this character: Leonardo is my childhood. I’ve loved the Turtles since I can remember. In the last game like this I, along with basically everyone else, let my story get out of hand, but now I’ve got an arc planned out that will keep the Turtles on a defined mission.

Write two complete sentences explaining what you can bring to this RPG: I've got an interesting story to tell. Also, this is an opportunity to do a hero that's different than the norm.

How many days a week you intend on posting in the RPG: As many as needed.

Please provide a small sample post as your character, at least three paragraphs and one line of dialogue in length:

Breathing deeply, I focus on nothingness. I let my mind slip away into a state of breathing unconsciousness. There, my mind is more than the normal person's. There I can perceive a higher state, and can center myself more than my brothers.

Doing this meditation, I can focus on the world around me and gain the state I need before battle. The state of calm and concentration gives me a leg up on the untrained scum of New York City.

Taking a final deep breath, I stand and exit my room, finding my brothers sparring in the main dojo. I announce my presence, "Turtles...get ready. We're going on patrol."

Screen Name: Carnage27

Character you'd like to portray:
Dr. Henry “Indiana” Jones Jr., Director of the BPRD

Superhuman powers, traits, other attributes of interest:
While Indy was not born with superhuman powers, he received the gift of extraordinary long life by drinking from the Holy Grail. At this point, Jones has the body of a man in his mid-to late 50’s, though in reality he’s over 100 years old at this point.

Outside of that, Jones is an expert on human civilizations and cultures, as well as an able fighter. He is an expert with a bullwhip, an experienced hand-to-hand scraper, and a crack shot with firearms.

Jones also served as a spy during World War II and the early years of the Cold War, and is capable in the art of espionage.

Originally appearing from (which comic, and company?): Raiders of the Lost Ark, Marvel Comics/Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Dark Horse Comics

Fictional history of the character: Indiana Jones was born around the turn of the twentieth century. From an early age, his father instilled in him the thirst for knowledge which quickly blossomed into an interest in archeology and a desire to preserve the antiquities of the world.

After schooling and training, Jones was known throughout the world as the preeminent obtainer of lost antiquities in the world. On one botched mission where he ended up in India, Jones had his first true run in with the supernatural. In 1935, Jones rescued a Sivalinga stone from a Thuggee cult and returned them to a village which had been suffering without it.

The next year the US Government approached him to recover the Ark of the Covenant before the Nazis could obtain it and use it to rule the world. On the trip, he was reunited with old flame Marion Ravenwood and friend Sallah. He succeeded in obtaining the artifact, but not before the Nazis attempted a ritual with it, that ended in the deaths of all in attendance, save for Marion and Indy.

Indy's next great journey was with his father. The two teamed up to stop the Nazis from obtaining the Holy Grail. It was here that Indy was blessed, or cursed, with extraordinary long life due to drinking from the Grail.

After the Grail journey, Indy volunteered for the Army, and became a special operative and espionage agent. Towards the end of the war, Jones discovered Hitler's last ditch plan to win the war by bringing a supernatural super weapon into the world with project Ragna Rok. Jones also led the strike team that interrupted and seemingly stopped anything from crossing over to our world.

But Jones, along with Trevor Bruttenholm, found the young demon Hellboy on the remote island which the ritual was performed on. The demon took a liking to the two men, and Bruttenholm decided to raise the demon as a child of his own, whereas Indy acted as a big brother-like role. The three of them went on to form the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense by order of President Truman.

There, Jones served as field leader until Hellboy was old enough and skilled enough to perform the role. Then, ten years ago, Bruttenholm was killed by frogmen, and Jones was selected to take over leadership of the Bureau. Since then, paranormal activity, including regular people waking up with superpowers, has rose exponentially and Jones has his hands full trying to keep the happenings out of the public eye while also trying to reign in the ever rebellious Hellboy.

Now, Indy stands on the brink of a war he has no idea is coming, and very soon his whole world will change.

Hero, Villain, or Walking the line?: Hero

List a few reasons why you chose this character: Indy has always been one of my favorite characters of all time, and I think I've got a really great concept for a character here.

Write two complete sentences explaining what you can bring to this RPG: A character who can eventually interact with all characters in the game, as well as a Nick Fury-like character trying to hide this from the world.

How many days a week you intend on posting in the RPG: As much as needed.

Please provide a small sample post as your character, at least three paragraphs and one line of dialogue in length:

It's been over one hundred years. Over one hundred years since I first breathed the air of this world. And that's just too long for me to look this good. I put the razor down and wash the shaving cream off my face. I only look like I should be in my mid fifties, not over a century old.

And I've lived too long to deal with everything I've had to deal with in the past decade. The Bureau is busier than ever, and I've started a recruiting drive to deal with it. At least I've planned a way to recruit new agents, but I haven't gotten the approval from my liaison to the president.

"You ready boss," Hellboy asks as he pokes his head into my room. "Manning is in the conference room."

"Yea, let's do this," I sigh.

Screen Name: Rain Dog

Character you'd like to portray: The Goon

Superhuman powers, traits, other attributes of interest: Tremendous strength and endurance but not at superhuman levels.

Originally appearing from (which comic, and company?): The Goon, Dark Horse

Fictional history of the character: From Wikipedia:

An orphan raised by his Aunt Kizzie, a strong-woman for a carnival. When wanted gangster Labrazio made the carnival his hiding place, Goon snuck into his trailer after hearing about the man's reputation for viciousness. Labrazio showed the young Goon a book containing the names of his enemies, people who had done him favors, and people who owed him money. The police managed to track Labrazio down, however, and surrounded the trailer. In the resulting shoot-out, Goon's Aunt Kizzie, while trying to protect her nephew, was gunned down by stray bullets from Labrazio's firearm. When Labrazio dismissed Kizzie as a "stupid broad" for getting in the crossfire, the young Goon snapped and beat the mobster's skull in with a rock. Figuring the late gangster owed him something, Goon took Labrazio's book (and the man's hat) and took over the entire operation, collecting money and offing deadbeats, all the while insisting that Labrazio was still alive and the Goon was merely his "enforcer."

After killing Labrazio, the Goon met Franky, a cowardly kid who was continually picked on by bullies. They became fast friends after the Goon beat up a kid who tormented him. The Goon involved Franky in his criminal business, setting out to burn down a barbershop which refused to pay protection to "Labrazio". During the arson attempt, they were attacked by zombies. Franky, not believing he could, killed one in self-defense, at which time he underwent a change in personality, adopting a haughty "tough-guy" persona similar to the Goon's, and taking up the position of the Goon's right-hand man.

Although still involved in underworld operations, the Goon, Franky, and friends have become protectors of their town, which is constantly under siege by strange and supernatural forces and the mysterious Zombie Priest.

Hero, Villain, or Walking the line?: Hero

List a few reasons why you chose this character: I read the first issue of The Goon last year, liked it, and just recently got around to reading the next few and was hooked. I burned through the entire series in a matter of 2 days. It’s a very unique and strange book, which I’m all about, and absolutely hilarious.

Write two complete sentences explaining what you can bring to this RPG: Hopefully, an enjoyable and different character/set of stories. And an axe.

“Oh, God no, she was mowed down by a bimmer. Like, immediately afterwards.”

“Huh….Hey, Franky…”

“Yeah, Goon?”

“Is that what I think it is?”

“A slackjaw?”

“A slackjaw.”

“The nerve of these pricks,” Franky says as he walked to the car, opened the passenger seat door, and reached inside.

“They’re wandering into our turf all the time now,” he said, with one arm fumblin’ about under the seat.

“I’ve noticed.”

“Here,” he says, tossin’ me the lead pipe what he found under the seat. I snatch it from the air and grip it real tight before lettin’ out a real sharp whistle.

“phEEEEEEEEW!!! Hey! Slackjaw!”

“Uggggggnnnnn???” the slackjaw groans as he turns that nasty head all slow-like.

“Lemme learn ya a thing or two 'bout wanderin’ into our turf!” I says as I march up to the bag o’bones. Before the thing can reach out to claw at me, I swing and send its head flyin’ off its shoulders and through the window to Norton’s pub. I jog up to the window and quickly stick my head through the broken glass.

“Sorry ‘bout that, Norton!”

Do you know how to post pictures on the Hype boards?:

Leo, Indy, and the Goon are all....

APPROVED!

I just realized the rules I put up say 2 approvals are necessary. I'm gonna change that to one unless one of the GMs have a problem with an application.

Damn you! First you take it upon yourself to put up the OOC thread, and now you're rewriting the rules! Does your greed know no bounds?! :cmad:

How dare you question my authority! :cmad:

Kidding, haha. But I don't think the two approvals is a necessity. Do you?

Okay, sounds good.

I'm thinking end of the week/weekend for the IC to be up. That'll give everyone time to get their apps up.

I'm good for now. I don't think I'll put up a Cerebus app until I get a better sense of what the game's universe is like. But if/when that does happen, I'd definitely like to see some Aardvardk on turtle action.

....wait....that didn't come out right. What I meant to say was...I want Cerebus to have sex with the ninja turtles.

Sounds good. In the meantime, I think I've found a new character to play

That is if I beat wieg to the punch! :cmad:

I saw that as well. I need to get into Castle.

I don't know if the Turtles will be in to a hermaphroditic aardvark. :awesome:

Just do what I do. Kill him and take over.

No, wait. Don't. That's what I was going to do.

One Universe: Independents Edition RPG APPLICATION

Screen Name: wiegeabo

Character you'd like to portray: Dean Winchester

Superhuman powers, traits, other attributes of interest: Dean is a born and bread hunter of the supernatural, trained by his father. He has a decent knowledge of the occult and a ****load of weapons in the trunk of his car.

Originally appearing from (which comic, and company?): Supernatural: Origins and Supernatural: Rising Son published by DC comics under the Wildstorm label.

Fictional history of the character: Dean lost his mother to a demon while his brother Sam was still a baby. Raised by their father John, Dean took care of Sam while John relentlessly hunted and killed demons and any other supernatural creatures across the country in an obsessive quest to avenge his wife's murder. When Dean was old enough, he began hunting with his father while Sam left the family business to go to college and try and live a normal life.

A short time ago, John Winchester disappeared, leaving behind his diary of all thing supernatural. Dean sought Sam out for help. Sam refused until his fiancee was killed in the same manner as their mother. Now Sam and Dean hunt supernatural forces while searching for their father and looking for the demon who's taken the women in their lives.

Hero, Villain, or Walking the line?: Hero

List a few reasons why you chose this character: Dean is a classic rebel-hero character. He's more than willing to give ****, but not take it. He loves his brother, but keeps it bottled up inside, and is more than willing to fight with him and even die for him. He also loves the ladies, and doesn't hide that fact. You could say he kicks ass for the Lord, if he believed in God and was in any way a religious person.

Write two complete sentences explaining what you can bring to this RPG: I want to keep as faithful to the character as I can. The Winchesters already live in a world of unnatural things while keeping it secret from the public, so whatever gets thrown out them shouldn't be too hard to adapt to.

How many days a week you intend on posting in the RPG: Honestly, probably only once or twice, unless I get into a posting session.

Please provide a small sample post as your character, at least three paragraphs and one line of dialogue in length:
"GO! GO! GO!" I shout. "Get them out of here!"

"No, I'm not going to leave you," Sam yells back as we run through the woods.

"Don't start getting soft on me. Get them across the road, I'll hold it off."

Sam looks ahead at the kids we're trying to save from their own stupidity. Conjuring a spirit in a graveyard. Freakin' geniuses.

We're hear the slobbering yells of anger behind us, the snapping of twigs and branches as the spirit gives chase. I veer right as everyone else veers left. "Dean!"

"Would you just go!" I fire a blast into the woods. The sounds of of the spirit change as it starts chasing me instead of the others. Sam and I look at each other for a moment, I start to wonder if this was such a great idea. We start running.

"Sam!"

"What!"

"...you better get your ass back here pronto." Sam nods and disappears into the woods.

"DIE!"

I bring my shotgun up as I spin around. "Oh sh-!" BLAM
