Kid Devil question

Haven't been reading Teen Titans...is Kid Devil the same kid who used to be Blue Devils sidekick? If so, how'd he get transformed into his present demonic form?

yeah, he is the same kid. they haven't really stated how he transformed as of yet.

No he isn't, he used to be a human in a stunt suit that he created himself along with a weaponized trident. It hasn't been reveal exactly how he got to his demonic form, probably in 52 it'll be shown.

Here's a current picture of him from the cover of Teen Titans #37, which of course could explain it there as well.

The (civilian) name he was called is the same one as the goofily clad Kid Devil. so, yes, it's the same one. We haven't seen Kid Devil's NEW origin to know how he got his powers. In the past he worshipped Dan so much that he actually made the Kid Devil suit, so...would it be above him to try something to make himself like Dan again? I dunno.

This is what I found in Wikipedia:
"He may been transformed into a demonic creature, with spaded tail, claws, hoof-like feet, and horns, although Robin stated that "Eddie isn't really a devil." He has exhibited the ability to breathe fire. This transformation may be due to Edward being caught in a magical blast from Trigon's demon dimension when Brother Blood had opened a portal between earth and the demon dimension, one entry point being the grave of Eddie's aunt, which he had been visiting at the time."

I really like Kid Devil. He rules not only from a visual aspect, but he's got a nice personality to boot.
