Exclusive: 'Kingpin' Sequel in the Works From Farrelly Brothers and Village Roadshow

Peter and Bobby Farrelly are set to produce a sequel to their 1996 bowling comedy Kingpin, and the project is currently in active development at Village Roadshow Pictures, Collider has exclusively learned.

Bad idea. This will probably end up being like the sequals to Dumb & Dumber and Coming to America... it just doesn't work after so many years.

I love the first one. Probably ranks in the top 10 of 90's comedy. But I don't need a sequel. On top of that, the only cast member I could see returning is Woody Harrelson.

Yeah, Randy Quaid has lost his ****ing mind so I doubt they’ll bring him back.

I seriously can’t tell if he just gradually morphed into his character from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation or if he was just playing his true self in that movie.

Erm okay? I liked the first at the time. Can't see a reason to make this, but I guess the Farrellys think they found one.

The first was really a product of the time and a sequel especially now just wouldn't work. Id rather the brothers and woody come up with an original story and character instead of treading the same waters.
