Many fans of the original show here? I watched it religiously as a kid and it was held in as high esteem as Transformers at that time t:

They've been chatting about a new Knight Rider movie for a while and I was interested in hearing opinions on who would play Michael Knight. Obviously Hasselhoff is too old but he has stated he would like to have a cameo in it, perhaps playing the head of the foundation or the like.

If the film is a remake or reboot of the original series, I thought Tom Welling would be a good choice for Michael Knight. He physically fits the part - particularly in height - and is also quite likeable. If they can get him out of those Smallville checked shirts and into some dark clothes he could pull it off t:

thats a very good idea! i think TW would work for Michael Knight

heh, this could work. But I'd have it take place after the original knight rider, some time way in the future where every car's like a Kitt so they'd need something really innovative and more advanced.
