Kong: Skull Island - Part 1

It's clear to the naked eye that the color of his fur is brown, Visions. There is a little bit of grey in there, yeah, but it's still brown.

I don't think we need to get into that debate again.

I expect the new trailer to drop sometime next week.

I love how the case file is designated "Skull".

How can anyone tell what color the fur is, with the sepia tone piss all over the shots? :funny:

I guess Kong is actually colored purple then. :o

It looks like, to me at least, he's grey-ish brown in color, even excluding the filter. Unless my eyesight is severely damaged.

Magenta.....he's a lovely shade of magenta.

Bottom left, just saying. :o

The movie takes place during Vietnam, and it's been confirmed Kong is still in a sort of young adult stage at this point in the story.

You seem to think it'll be another remake of the original Kong, which it obviously isn't. Kong won't end up in New York and he won't end falling in love with Brie Larson's character (so I assume). It's a retelling of Kong without most of the original elements.

I think you should have done a little research on the development of this movie because you're missing out on a lot of important details. Doesn't mean you're gonna end up liking the movie, and if you don't that's fine, but at least try to acquire the process of this movie's plotline instead of making presumptions first.

Yeah. It's a different take on Kong. It's like America's first take on the Kaiju King Kong that in this movie kinda looks like the 1933 one but bigger & capable to fight Godzilla.

I'm very interested to see how this film approaches the natives of Skull Island. The glimpses we've seen are interesting with warriors painted with camouflage.

Jackson's destitute orcs were one of the worst elements he brought to the table.

I wonder why we haven't heard from Kong in 40 years since this movie takes place in the 70's. I wonder if he just went back into his cave or there's more to it.

Loving the new diesign, hopefully we get to see him in action a little more in the new trailer, though not too much of course.

I think Skull Island will remain an unknown mystery to the rest of the world. Of course, assuming Kong never leaves the island in the film and he's revealed to the world in the versus movie.

ITS HAPPENING

We all knew it was coming next week. Calm yourself.

Sucks that on Wednesday I will be in the air for a 16 hour flight. That's my luck for you I guess.

I am calm? No idea where you got the "I'm literally jumping from the excitement" response from.

Anyway, yes, can't wait to see the next trailer and hopefully much juicy new footage.
