Just a little over a month to go. I can handle it.

Given the rate that the percentage on the map website has increased, some are saying it is counting down to November 18th, just in time to have a trailer with Fantastic Beasts.

You'e gonna give Vision a heart palpitation if you talk like that.

Just in time for Vision to lose his ****.

It is, a dude set his computer's clock to Nov 18th and the meter completed to 100%.

Hopefully we'll see Kong.

My friend said it very good but confirmed that there does appear to be giant spiders in the film...he knows I'm deathly arachnophobic

Giant Kong = Hell Yes
Giant Spiders = Oh Hell No

Does Universal still have the rights to Kong? or is it with WB now - the aim is to tie it in with Godzilla isn't it?

BTW, the sole reason why Legendary/WB pushed back Godzilla 2 from 2018 to 2019 (and subsequently releasing Kong vs Godzilla in 2020) was to acoomendate Gareth Edwards' scheduling, after he was done with Rogue One.

And since he dropped out of Godzilla 2, WB should consider moving it back to 2018. 2019 is too much of a gap for the first Godzilla and even for Skull Island.

They should just cancel Godzilla 2 and go full steam ahead with KvG, give that the 2018 release.

Well, we already knew giant spiders were gonna be in the movie due to this shot in the trailer:

Also I agree with Bolton that they most likely should cancel Godzilla 2 if they don't find another director by summer of next year.

If Skull Island is well received, then they should definitely go straight into KvG. Is there likely to be any sort of Godzilla easter egg in SI?

They should absolutely not cancel Godzilla 2. There's a huge weath of monsters & Mythos for them to explore in Godzilla 2, and I'm personally much more interested in seeing Godzillla fight his arch-nemisis: King Ghidorah (although kinda debatable between Destroyah) than seeing him fight Kong again in all honesty.

Do we see Kong in the trailer? I need to mentally prepare myself.

I'm not sure how long it is but he did mention seeing Kong tower over Loki
