Is it possible to install a new video card in a laptop? I brought a new laptop computer months ago (and I had to buy the cheapest one because my wife didn't really approve it), and it doesn't have a gaming graphic card. Her stance has soften since then, and recently I began to feel the itch to replay my old PC games again. Unfortunately, unless I can change the video card, it will not be possible to play any of my old PC games. I know it's a long shot but I just want to throw this question out there and see if anyone had any success with it.

Unless it's specifically designed to be replaced (some Alienware models have replacable video cards) the answer is no. 99% of laptop manufacturers integrate the video in the main board on a laptop to save space.

Okay, thanks for the reply. Looks like unless I upgrade my old desktop computer, there's no way that I can ever play my PC games again.
