1. Unforgiven
2. Bull Durham
3. The Professional (Leon)
4. Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
5. White Men Can't Jump
6. Casino
7. Nick of Time
8. Young Guns

Casino is great but it can be ****ing boring. The Professional is probably my favorite of them all, but I can't put it anywhere near Unforgiven. i figure if i put a baseball movie high up, the baseball gods will bless my city with a 2nd round exit instead of 1st.

We did just talk about Bull Durham a few days ago, but if I'm being honest, I've only seen parts of a heavily-edited TV version that aired on UPN decades ago, so I might as well have never seen it.

Also, @KRYPTON INC., this is your last chance to change your picks before I start. Do you want to win or not?! IT'S GAME TIME.

I have no idea if your movies are good, but I have heard of Reek and Flick's, which doesn't seem like it bodes well.

Nah Bri.

I'm good just knowing you're gonna get exposed to a **** ton of stuff you haven't seen before and just like before you're gonna like some and you're gonna not gonna like some others.

The real movie tournament was the friends we made along the way is what I'm saying.

Then so it shall be. The bracket fills:

Other people have given suggestions, but I need a ranked list of 8 to fill it out. Then I can spend the better part of a month watching all these. I may die.

Ranked in this order....I added stragglers in case you've seen a some of them. You may also want to go with suggestions from others. You may die. TBH this is one of the more unique (may not be quite the right word) ideas I've ever seen someone come up with. Can you really find all of these movies???

Once Upon a Time in America (long version)

Amadeus

Broadcast News

Rain Man

After Hours

Something Wild

Beetlejuice

Where’s Poppa?

Hugo

The Hollywood Shuffle

The Lost Boys

The Outsiders

Two years ago I watched and recorded the extended version of THE OUTSIDERS.....and now I can't find it among my stuff. I'm trying to remember if I loaned it to someone.

Never saw that. I haven't seen that movie in ages, but remember liking it when I saw it. I wonder how it's aged. It had an expansive cast of pretty well known actors.

I watched it two years ago with my daughter (they were reading it in school)....I thought it had still held up good, and she loved it. The only thing I think most kids today wouldn't relate to in it is.....when the teenagers get mad they get into fist fights instead of shooting at people.

:funny:

Maybe not THAT funny, but I confess that I laughed.

Every movie suggested so far has been available to rent digitally or stream on a streaming service... except Where's Poppa, which is not available to rent or stream anywhere as far as I can tell. So, I've swapped it with The Lost Boys, which I have always meant to watch but never did.

Lost Boys is probably better, but Where's Poppa? is kind of sicko, but funny. Lost boys was shot in Santa Cruz when I lived there. I really like to watch movies that were shot there. It's sorta fun sitting in a theater and recognizing where everything is taking place.

Ah man... Lost Boys is up your alley I suspect.

It is full. I'll start tomorrow with the Northwest Regional Conference Division...
