Also Color Purple was considered a departure for Spielberg at the time. This was what allowed him to do work like Schindler's List later on.

I paid about $3.50 a gram two days ago, and they have curbside pickup. I don't have a car, but for other people it would have been convenient. You need to legalize that ****.

That **** makes me think. I hate that. I bought this stuff called Tonix??? at a local store. I figured what the hell, I'll give it a try. Problem is I evidently drank too much of it. I was like "Oh yeah.....that's why I quit this ****". I started wondering what kind of emotions dogs have and was stunned by how much the internet has grown.

When do we start getting updates?

What did you think of Miller's Crossing? Pretty good cast and interesting story. If you are concerned about attachments, you could probably go back and delete those from old posts.

Yeah, it was a good movie. It definitely wasn't what I was expecting. I just saw "crime drama" in the description and assumed it was something more grounded, but this was more exaggerated and stylized. The part where

Leo survives his assassination attempt, and the one attacker is riddled with bullets for about five minutes straight

was absolutely ridiculous, but in a good way. You'd have moments of calm and quiet, where characters are reserved and ordinary, but then there were scenes where everything was turned up to 120%. Usually with insane camera zooms. I had a good time watching it.

It's a bit like YOJIMBO as filtered through the Cohen's sensibilities with a pinch of GODFATHER.

BTW the scene with the dude with a tommygun who laughs after he open fire?

That's Sam Raimi himself.

How did actually seeing LW compare to the movie in your head after IASIP did their LW5/6 bit? For me, LW is the forerunner of DIE HARD and the big and iconic era of mid -late 80's action thrillers.

Look up the regiment for the ole pipes used by the greats of 80's metal.

Strange, but those dudes, especially the ones that still toured until recently and some that still are have all kinds of treatment for the vocal cords.

I think Eartha Kitt also had some clover honey before she performed too back in the day.
