She said something along the lines of there being better materials to use for the suit, but they didn't have enough time to research them, so they stuck with the foam latex/neoprene.

Considering how much time they have now, It'd be nice to see them gravitate towards those other materials. Freshen the suit up.

Yeah, there was also a news bit on BOF a couple of months back that said they are considering using a different approach regarding the suit, as opposed to the foam latex/neoprene method.
