it was sarcasm. no, i'm not black, are you? i didn't think black people still said "homeboy". i've had a fitted royals hat for years and have never worn it backwards. i think whatever coolness that look had went out the window the second fred durst started wearing his hat backwards.

Actually, if I'm outside doing something in the sun that doesn't require me to look UP at it (as baseball does), but rather look down (such as hiking, yard work, etc.) if I'm wearing a baseball hat, I will intentionally put in on backwards to keep the sun off the back of my neck... especially since the back of my neck gets less sun on a daily basis and is more likely to burn.

I wear a backwards hat frequently and I am neither a fratboy, a Dave Mattews fan or a 16 year old trying to be "hard" It just looks better on me that way.
