This looks like it'll be entertaining. How many old school football movies have they made anyway? I can't think of any.

I loved it. Great comedy and the outfits were wonderful. George Clooney is incredibly sexy in this. Some of the people in my group thought it was a little slow and predictable. It was definitely not a mind bending movie but a lot of fun.

The Mrs. and I just got back from it. Such an odd movie. One thing that can be said about Leatherheads is that a movie like it has not been made in about 30 years. It really takes you back to the old days of comedy. The police chase and barfight seem like things right out of Benny Hill...the romance was corny, but I do believe it was meant to be such...and the plot was loose and often seemed more like a distraction than the focus, but again, I think this was all intentional. This movie was definitely Clooney's tribute to the old days of cinema and, hell, it works. 3 out of 5 stars.
