Superman Returns Left over Crystals

so here's a question: Can the kryptonian crystals be reused? Because I know of atleast 2 bits of crystal which are still on earth. If they can be reused, then these would be powerful weapons. 1 must be up north in the bowls of the Fortress, and the other, although smaller (much smaller) is still laying around in Gertrude's basement.

There's still all of the the crystals that are on New Krypton as well as Singer recently teased when talking about a sequel.
