DLC pack out right now are 75th Anniversary, Man of Steel, and Dark Knight.

DLC missions are reflected in the mission select menu.

hmm ok when i click on the dlc in game nothing shows up in the store. i'll have a look via the main store later

I'm pretty sure the Batman Beyond DLC is a Playstation exclusive.

I just want to know if it really is dlc or actual in game content. I own the game on ps4 and havent seen anything for the Batman beyond level and characters. I also got the season pass.

Did you redeem the code directly from the PSN store? I got the blank page when I entered it through the game so I left the game and redeemed directly from the PSN Store. Then I just had to download the DLC pack and install it.

No mention/sight of her so far... but the way they were teasing her, it would be pretty dick-ish of them if she didn't show up somewhere.

Perhaps a Teen Titans DLC.

After a week, I don't think its as good as Lego Marvel. Kinda feels like a step back in some ways, specifically the hub/ open world. Batman and the other guys who have access to suits all feel too overpowered as well. I guess DC guys are more overpowered in comparison to Marvel's superheroes, but I think it takes away from the playability of some of the non-story characters.

Agreed on a lot of that. Some of those nonstory characters should have some of those extra abilities. And the free roam on lego marvel was far superior and well organized. The story on this also feels shorter.

Yeah. I think part of what made the Lego Marvel story feel longer was the stuff that happened inbetween each mission. Between stage 1 and 2, you had to get Cap and Mr. Fantastic from the Helicarrier into the Baxter Building, after stage 2 you had to get Hawkeye and Black Widow over to Oscorp. After stage 3 you had to get Iron Man and Hulk to the Raft, etc. There's barely any of that type stuff in Batman 3.

I'm not sure what the minimum number of characters you need to have to get all the minikits is, but it sure feels a lot lower. With Batman having so many abilities, you probably only need him, Robin (for tech), Flash for the superspeed tasks and Braniac. Maybe the Atom too, but you can get by that with a red brick available at the beginning of the game. Also not having the hub missions took a lot away from the game.

I would have given Lego Marvel a 9 probably, I agree this game is about a 7.5

i have the beyond stuff, the characters are in game, haven't seen the level yet. what i mean is the dlc from the season pass(movie,zod etc). i purchased the season pass and cant find these through the in game menu or the psn store itself.

i didn't think they were all released day 1 but everyone seems to have them

Nope that's the point I don't see the individual packs in the store. Maybe the uk is getting a later release

I just platinumed the game, and while I enjoyed it, I nowhere near loved it as much as Lego Marvel. It seemed like a bit of a step backwards. I think if this had come out before Lego Marvel, i would have enjoyed it even more, and then the progression to the lego New York in Marvel would have been amazing. This however just didn't addict me as much as LM.
Still, quite fun and had funny moments. And the Batman '66 level was brilliant

I'm honestly indifferent about the lack of free roam. I would've liked to have Metropolis or the Oa Citadel as free roaming cities, but I enjoyed the planets as well.

What does strike me as a step back was the over-complication of how Free Play worked in the hubs. I didn't see why it was necessary to pull switches just to turn it on until the story was beaten.

It didn't bother me too much not having a free roam city, but just going from New York to basically just the watchtower and the bat cave definitely felt like some regression.

Something that bothered me was the removal of the map of the area you're in, especially when there is quite a few quests and side missions that are scattered around the place. In LM you could see the map of the whole helical river and see where gold brick missions were, stan lee in peril, everything. Here, you'd have to move away from the mission area and then go into every area just to see if there was an objective. That kind of took me out if the fun because it was so annoying to do that and then find there was nothing, and you'd have to repeat it later on.

There was alot of competition around it, but hopefully with Christmas upon us, it become a consistent seller.
