Is that Bizarro World in some of the screenshots?

I'm a bit disappointed that we're getting pre-Mirakuru Slade, though.

The Suicide Squad comes to Lego Batman 3 in early 2015 JoyStiq

Following Warner Bros.' recent announcement that a film based on DC Comics' Suicide Squad will debut in 2016, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced that Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will soon receive Suicide Squad-themed DLC.

Excuse me, that should read "The Squad." Despite taking place within Belle Reve prison and granting players control of iconic Suicide Squad fixtures like Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and Deathstroke, the DLC and its characters are only ever referred to as "The Squad." Much as comic book devotees might hate the change, this makes sense. The grim moniker isn't central to the group's appeal and Lego Batman 3 is aimed at a younger crowd. Plus, the DLC's description makes no mention of the explosive collars that earned the Suicide Squad its name, so it seems likely that the more graphic elements of the comics have been excised from the DLC or purposely shied away from. Still, any excuse to feature Amanda Waller in a video game is a good one, even if her team is less sociopathic than usual.

The Squad will be available in early 2015. It will be priced at $3, but can also be purchased alongside all of the other Lego Batman 3 DLC packs in the game's $15 season pass.

Has anyone tried out parasite in this. He's both creepy and hilarious.

Man, the constant repetition of Conan O'Brien sayings is getting on my bad side.
That's the first con I'm giving this game.

Another bad thing about this game is how the camera rotates on each Lantern's planet, the hubs are taking the whole planet, and the planet is scaled down ridiculously.
Camera jumbles like mad, surfaces aren't properly flat, and the flag tasks are harder because of those two things.

Best 3 to use for Gorilla Grodd tasks are Barry Allen (The Flash), Wally West (Kid Flash), and Brave & the Bold Batman, because those 3 fought the ape more often than everyone else.
And now with the current Flash show revelations, [blackout]I'd love to play Grodd missions again using Reverse Flash[/blackout].

Arrow actor Stephen Amell stars in new Lego Batman 3 DLC

For its latest downloadable addition, Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is ditching the titular Dark Knight to focus on another vigilante billionaire: Oliver Queen, aka Green Arrow.

Instead of simply cobbling together a Lego version of the comic book character - a thinly-veiled Robin Hood/Batman hybrid - Warner Bros. Interactive cast Stephen Amell, the actor who plays Green Arrow in the surprisingly good CW series Arrow. The developers then modeled the Lego character after Amell, who provided the voice work. As you can see in the trailer beyond the break, Amell seems very comfortable as a virtual character, which shouldn't be too surprising, given that he also played the role as a Green Arrow DLC skin in Injustice: Gods Among Us.

The Arrow DLC for Lego Batman 3 is currently available on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 and will be available on January 14 for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. It bears a $3 price tag, but is included (along with four other DLC packs) in the game's $15 season pass.

I played the DLC level. Fans of the show are going to be amused by some of the stuff parodied.

Also, there's an update on the game that actually shuts up Conan O'Brien unless you prompt him to talk! I can't believe they actually made a patch for that.

lol I think I know alot people that would like that feature for other games both dc & marvel

I remember when I was at the Stephen Amell Spotlight Panel at New York Comic Con last year, he mentioned he was doing the voice over for it. He mentioned that he'd done it, and also voicework for Injustice, because he really wants them to make a (Green) Arrow game so he can voice it, and play it.

He seemed like a pretty cool guy.

Just picked it up this weekend, loved the first two and I'm enjoying this one thus far. The DLC packs are cute and are fun, really enjoyed the tongue in cheeks approach for those levels. I am a little confused however since I got the Season pass as to why Batman Beyond wasn't included as well. Was there ever a reason given other than milking more money?

Bizarro DLC is the polar opposite of the Arrow one, where the level itself is boring, but the characters themselves are fun. Really liked how Bizarro had freeze vision and heat breath.

Darkseid was the only disappointment in the pack.

it was also the shortest DLC level. I miss free roaming in the hub worlds.

Free Female DLC pack came out today!

My favorite characters are Terra and Raven! They were the ones with the most thought put into them. I also didn't expect them to include [BLACKOUT]Spoiler[/BLACKOUT] and [BLACKOUT]Batwoman[/BLACKOUT].
