Lengthy overview of TIH @ SciFi Japan

I was just about to say that! It's almost 20,000 words! I'm only 20,000 words into my novel and I thought I was going good!

Thanks alot.

Wow you weren't joking about it being lengthy, I read about 3/4 of it then my brain shut down lol. Very interesting stuff about the cgi and how the came up with the look of the characters.

It's kinda cool (and somehow fitting) that the Hulk and Godzilla are sorta using the same press agent here! LOL

Useless info here - Hulk and Godzilla aside from being radiated beings also have a healing factor and a power increase factor in common.

You're right. I hadn't even thought about those particular characteristics. Eerie?!? (Talk about a dream fantasy fight! LOL)

This is all on the main site, you know. Go to the official TIH site and click on "Story," then "Production Notes." I meant to give a heads-up on that a few days ago, but I figured people had found it by now.

Well, I just wanted to let folks know that TIH is being hyped elsewhere - and in no small way, either. This is much more in-depth and respectful than the few lines that many "insider" sites & sources have given the film thus far. Every little bit helps!:yay:

I'd said it earlier on during production that this movie was sort of making me think of Godzilla movies and their pacing. You get a little action here and there along with some human interest plots. But in all Godzilla movies it all culminates in the final battle between the Big G and his nemesis. Maybe someone on Team Incredible Hulk read my comments and was able to see the connections for themselves.

I've also told others that since Toho has put the Big G on ice for a decade or so... this is the closest we'll likely get to a giant monster battle in a metropolitan area for some time. (And it looks to deliver in spades in that regard!

I guess so since Kaiju films are far and few between though there's been a Millenium Gamera movie that's more kid friendly (He is friend of all children you know.) and there's even going to be a Guilala movie (He's the goofy monster from The X From Outer Space.) but as far as Godzilla goes, nothing sadly. I believe you are correct in stating Hulk is the closest thing to a citywide rampage from two monsters this Summer.

I think big G needs a deserved vacation, Toho brought the character back in full stride after that craptacular 98' Iguanacatzilla, but I would like to wait and see a big budget multinational uber-FX Godzilla film fans deserve. People went gaga over Cloverfield, but a Godzilla film with that level of FX and a decent non-human oriented script (the human stories always take so much away) and let me see Godzilla walk across the world. Ahem, back on topic...

Cool article.

Whew, thats going to have to take a couple reads to absorb. They kinda covered every little detail.
