I just read this. I agree with you. Some of the best movies ever are the crime noir films of the late 30s and 40s. Shade, Marlow, etc. This movie will be a special treat.

You think it will be in color or black and white?

I think colour,they are having trouble selling it as is so i doubt they'd put the extra deterrent of it being in black and white

Seriously, I'd see this movie. DiCaprio was great in "The Departed". He's more than redeemed himself for "Titanic".
