I know there is a kinda fan campaign to have Shuri take that Iron Heart role in the films at one point, but i think thats a disservice to the idea that you can only have one black female hero at a time in the films. Idea of a armed up Shuri and a RiRi IronHeart one point in the future is the kinda of progress that can set apart MCU from everything before.

Shuri was right in the thick of things in the action in this film and honestly that is what I love to see. Shuri was not only the brains of Wakanda with her intelligence but she also proved that she is a capable warrior. It would have been something if they had shown her fighting prowess to be just as superior as her brother's.

I can’t see that, but I can see Shuri as Black Panther after Boseman has done a trilogy and takes an injury or time out after a MCU event film in Phase 5 or 6.

She’s a thinker, not necessarily a fighter. She’d be OP if she were able to hold her own against people like Killmonger or T’Challa.

I know Shuri said that T'challa designed his Civil War suit. Maybe scientists run in the family. The only reason I think T'Challa is a little bit behind Shuri in the science department is because of his Black Panther duties.

Yeah, no need to combine them IMO. I’d rather see both, particularly if Stark takes a break after Avengers 4.

Perfect little sister for T’Challa! Lovable and contributed massively to the film and was a great support to him. I hope she is always there working with him, even when he steps outside of BP films.
