Letitia Wright is Shuri

Considering all that was put against her, I do think Letitia Wright did a remarkable job. I just wish the movie wasn't so bloated and there was a better villain and challenge for her to face.

Well damn. Letitia knocked it out of the park. Just answered a monumental challenge by delivering a spectacular performance. Shuri is a great great character in this movie.

Definitely they need to be thinking of her at Oscar/Academy Awards time

I don't see her getting an Oscar nod especially when Queen Angela Ramonda outshone her.

I thought Letitia did a good job.
I wouldn't say Oscar worthy, but she did well .

Ultimately though,
I still don't buy her as BP.
I appreciate that's not everyone's view, but the film didn't sell me on it .

That said, I did buy her emotional arc and I think that emotional arc is the best part of the film frankly.

Shuri is obviously
Black Panther just like in the comics, but if Marvel Studios had the balls of make Queen Ramonda the new Black Panther, that would have been a lot better, especially given Angela's performance in this. She would have represented all the moms out there.

Good thing, we have T'Challa Jr, so maybe they could pass the BP role from every sequel, because Shuri/Letitia doesn't feel like a main character at all, at least to me.

Superb performance from Wright she knocked it out of the park and stepped up in a difficult situation. What a powerful, emotional and strong performance.
