I laughed more during the new War of the Worlds. Well, that was at the movie, not with the movie, but the point stands. Maybe this is a cultural thing since my audience wasn't feeling it much either, and I keep hearing about these raucous crowds in the States. I LOVE the originals, and despite not enjoying the trailers of this reboot, I was entirely ready to give it a chance, but it just didn't work for me. Pamela is brilliant, though.

Probably my favorite scene from the movie.

Just got back from it. I thought it was good but not quite as funny as the original Naked Gun. I got a kick out of seeing Neeson seamlessly take the reins from Nielsen. The snowman scene was great, it felt very Lonely Island coded.

Just watched the first film in preparation of the new one for the first time!

Thought it was really, really funny! Going to watch the next two on Netflix!

I hope it makes enough for them to make another one, and for there to be a 'boom' and we see more comedies like it. I really appreciated the care put into it to honor the original films. I think a lot of other versions of this remake would have put in the surface level elements that nod back to the original but this one goes a lot further than that.

The inner monologues of Frank Drebin that are silly (Like a midget at a urinal I would have to stay on my toes, OR like a blind man at an orgy I would have to feel myself around), i'm so happy they gave Liam a few of these as well. The stupid play on word gags, just the simple and most stupid ones (May I ask you why? -Yes you may, followed by awkward silence). And funny gags going on in the background while exposition is being told to us by characters.

I know the comedy will land different with people and some will laugh more than others but I think it needs to be praised for going the extra mile when so many other 'legacy sequels' are much lazier and just go for the surface level similarities.
