Lily James and Sebastian Stan are PAM & TOMMY

Yes. She has no interest in re-telling those events of her life and doesnt support any of it.

I can't blame her for that.

And yeah, it's hard for me to buy this as a show advocating for Pamela Anderson with the way it "dramatizes" and takes liberty in events and she wants nothing to do with.

I feel that way now after watching episode 4. Seeing Pam and Tommy go through the process of having a miscarriage set to Four Non Blondes' "What's Up" was firmly in the poor taste category. What's more is I looked it up and Pam actually miscarried months before the burglary even happened so this was added into the show just for dramatic purposes. So, even more wtf.
That's an odd choice. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised

I can understand the feelings of ickiness surrounding the topic, but I have found both the incident and the series to be extremely interesting and pretty damn compelling. The idea that Pam, Tommy and the PI all thought they could get this video back and that would be the end of it is fascinating to me, and I was a grown man when the tape was released out in the wild. This may have been the first known incident of revenge porn, when it became clear due to the emerging interwebs that images and videos of a salacious nature can never be recovered.

Blaming the miscarriage on the stress of the tape release is interesting, but I don't have a problem with shows based on a true story mucking up the timeline to add dramatic poignancy to events, so long as the events that are depicted actually happened.

Finished watching it this week. Did Pam really grant the rights to that internet company? Was that how it was resolved?

I think Lily James as Pamela Anderson looks better than the real thing.

Really impressed by Seth Rogen in this - I knew he can act better, than in most of his movies but this was very good

This was great overall. I don’t know how accurate it was, but it made for an interesting series. Lily and Sebastian killed it. I also thought Seth was really good.

I thought it dragged on a little too long. It didn't need to be 8 episodes. By the end of it I felt bad for Pam Anderson but I think that was the point the show was trying to make, even though the show simply existing doesn't do her any favors in that regard. Still, Lily James deserves a lot of praise for disappearing into the role as well as the makeup department.

I really enjoyed it overall as well, but it definitely didn't need to be dragged out to 8 episodes and thank god they are not doing a Season 2 for this which would drag it out even more.

Lily James is without a doubt the MVP of this show though because damn did she make you feel bad for Pam Anderson, especially towards the end which is easily some of the best acting I have seen from Sebastian Stan and Lily James in this entire show although Seth Rogan was no slouch either.
