The Dark Knight Limited Screening

I've heard through the grape vine that there is a limited screening at the Chicago Wizard World. I know Gotham Knight will be there for sure but I wanted to know if anyone was able to confirm the actual movie having a sneak peak.

I'm not one to go to (or at least afford to go to) the big time Cons...But I'd seriously doubt they'd screen the movie prior to official release...I mean they wouldn't...would they?

If only to the press. I hear it's VERY limited. My buddies work the con every year for free. So they're a pseudo-reliable source. I just wanted to know if anyone else has more info on this.

I seriously hope that this is true. My family and I are going to WW on Saturday. Last year we were able to get in on TDK panel and we were hoping for a little something special this year.

If there is a limited screening, I think it would only be to some of the press. With all the hype going on all over the net, I don't think they would take the chance of showing it to non-press who would possibly leak it.

If they do show anything to the public, it might be a re-hash of clips we've seen already, or possibly a little snippet of something new. Hopefully nothing that gives away too much.

We'll just have to wait. Only one more month!

I wouldn't be surprised if it's confusion and they'll be screening Gotham Knight. WB did an advanced screening in San Diego for Doomsday last year.

Might have some never before seen footage from the actual movie afterwards though.

This may sound weird, but as a HUGE Batman Fan and WW Chicago attendee for the past 5 years, I really don't want a TDK screening at WW. I'd rather see it at the midnight premiere at IMAX .

GOOD THING THE DRIZZLE'S SECRET IDENTITY WILL REMAIN A SECRET. And that's what sucks about having a secret identity. You'll never receive the credit for the attention grabbing things that you do.

Just get a padlock that looks the same.

I heard rumors of that as well, but somehow I doubt it. I do believe we'll see some cool TDK stuff at Wizard but a screening of the movie is highly unlikely.

For anyone that is interested in the Gotham Knight screenings, Wizard just put up the program finally.

Saturday June 28th - 7 PM - Gotham Knight Premiere & Panel (w/ Bruce Timm, Greg Rucka, Brian Azarello, etc.) - Ticket required (some stuff like that requires you either purchase or procure a ticket to it)

Sunday June 29th - 2 PM - Encore Screening of Gotham Knight. No panel. No ticket required.

Comic Con....I'm gonna have to go to one day.We have these sorry "National Comic Book Conventions" in NYC every November.Went a couple years ago and it was not worth it.Even though I got some good old comics and action figures.
