It was a similar situation with him and Barry Keoghan in Saltburn. It made Keoghan look like a 12-year-old next to him, which is funny because he’s 5 years older than Elordi.

Elordi also said he aspired to work with international filmmakers like Guadagnino. Although there’s been persistent rumors he was going to star in Guadagnino’s new “American Psycho” movie, Elordi wouldn’t confirm and said “That’s news to me” with a smile, before looking and nodding at Guadagnino.

“I would work with a filmmaker from every country in the world. Cinema is this grand universal language, and I’ve barely even learned how to say hello,” said Elordi. “My dream is to work with all kinds of filmmakers and human beings and kinds of films.”

I’d love to see an actual video of their reactions.

Was not expecting Bateman to be cast so soon! I’m sure he’ll be great, but no topping Bale!

Was hoping for Nicholas Chavez, though!

Going by how Luca did his Suspiria remake, it's definitely going to be different enough to keep you from not thinking about the original.

All I'm saying is Charles Melton was right there, Nicholas Chavez was right there, even Manny Jacinto was right there, but noooooo.

Luca and his classically European white male leads... :o

Manny Jacinto was another choice I would have loved!

Awesome on the Good Place and the Acolyte!

Just researched the original last night, pretty great movie!

This also makes me want to read the novel, which I never read before.
The novel is one of my favourites as well. If you like audiobooks I highly recommend Pablo Schreiber’s performance of it - unhinged and hilarious delivery throughout.

Pretty excited for Sgt. Rock too, but i’d be lying if I weren’t more intrigued by Luca’s interpretation of this!

Having seen Suspiria, Luca ain't doing a remake. But I'm diggity. Butler is dope. Luca is even better. Need it. I wonder how this shapes Luca's schedule though. I want that Sgt. Rock joint to be legit so bad and the trades said it could be his next shoot.
