lots of folks assumed they'll use Darwyn's Cooke's art for New Frontier, instead they used Timm's versions instead..

Not really. Considering Cooke worked out of Timm's animation studio, their styles have always been similar. It's Cooke's art but with less detail.

Not to mention the art on the project is being overseen by one of Darwyn's studio mates who has a similar style to Darwyn himself. I have faith in New Frontier.

Why not? Can you imagine how awesome it would look...

because for one,its way too over exadurated,jokers grin is all messed up(in a bad way), batman looks like a friggen monkey, catwoman looks like a male body builder dressed in a catsuit, two face looks like he has worms or pink pasta on his face, it looks like its gonna move, penguin is just messed up, and ivy is the only one I kind of like, exept for the face that she has leaves for hair. And scarecrow is pretty good too.
Its just my personal tastes but i dont like his art.
But i do like his Spiderman:blue

I want Sale's art I think that it can be rendered beautifully and it works perfectly for that "Creep" edge that The Joker and Two-face need.

I'm sure the artwork will be good no matter what artist they decide to emulate. What's more important is that they get the story and tone right.

That's not true. Have you seen the sneak peek? It looks exactly like Darwyn's art.
