I hope this turns out well. I tried watching the Fassbender movie once and it was insufferable. I still can’t believe what a misfire that was. And yeah, “video game movies suck, blah blah blah” but they had a real opportunity there with some serious talent involved and it was absolutely abysmal. I don’t know what they will do here but it HAS to be better than that or it’s DOA. I’m fine if they attempt a new setting and characters again (Fallout proved you can tell a whole new story and it can still really feel lik the game) but just make it… GOOD. And minimize the modern-day stuff. Barely anyone cares about that.

I kind of wanted this to have some aspects of "choose your path" that Netflix already provided before on that special Black Mirror episode.

It's certainly ambicious, but I think it fits for a game adaptation.
