Looking for open world games on the PS3

Does anyone know any good open-world games? I know of InFamous that I will get but I am looking for others.

My favorite,s from those already mentioned, are Red Dead Redemption and Just Cause 2. I highly recommend them.

^ I hear Just Cause 2 is alot of fun. I'm gonna pick that up one of these days.

But for me 2 that instantly come to mind are GTA IV (my personal favorite) & Red Dead Redemption. & if your into skating like me Skate 2 or 3 is a great game that'll have you playing for hours around the city.

Prototype is criminally underrated and far more enjoyable than the HIGHLY overrated Infamous. Ya can't got wrong with Red Dead or Assassins Creed 2 ( The first game is a highly repetitive tech demo for the Anvil engine)

Anyway, yes, Assassin's Creed II is a fantastic open world game.
I'd also like to toss Borderlands into the mix. I have lost way too many hours into that game.

Prototype is more fun to screw around with. What sucks about inFamous is that you're really not much more powerful at the end of the game. The thrusters are such a waste.

Just Cause 2 is awesome. The map is so huge you can spend all day going around and just blowing **** up.

That along with the core combat in infamous being garbage, the main character sounding like if christian bale's batman had throat cancer and the morality angle really needed to be a bit more...subtle. I really wanted to love that game

Totally pick up Just Cause 2 and inFamous. They're alot of fun.
